Anyone know any really cool apartments/townhomes/houses for rents with at least 2 bedrooms, hard flooring in the Dallas/Denton/Corinth area? Please?

Carroll Courts is on University and Carroll, right by that Kroger on University. It's about $450/month and you pay for the electric and any TV/internet services you decide to get. it ended up costing about $500 for everything! And you don't pay for water. It's unfurnished but they are really really nice.

Put a blog on your own site. Search engines love content, keep it on your own domain. Any traffic generated by online ads will cease once you stop paying for it. Any money invested in SEO will provide long terms benefits long after you've paid for it. A good SEO should be able to give you some numbers on how many people are searching for " flooring related keywords" to determine if it'll be worth your time. Good news is that it shouldn't be _that_ hard to rank #1 for what sounds like a smaller market. It's not hard to do SEO yourself if you are diligent and are willing to spend some time reading up on it. Most common mistake I see "amateurs" make is poorly research keywords.

Remember, behind every ad, you need a business that satisfies a need on many levels, such as storefront appearance, indoor appearance, customer service, etc. It's not just the ad. So, even if your ad is getting lots of clicks and lingering landing page reads, you STILL may not get any sales.
Consider a landing page strategy, rather than having the web ad go straight to the site. And no, not the cheesy affiliate marketing strategy, but a strategy like [this](http://www.39articles.net/tips-to-improve-conversion-on-your-landing-page/).
Always hook up Google Analytics on your landing page and on your site homepage.
Don't forget to update your info on Google Maps if you are doing local targeting.
Don't under-estimate radio advertising. Experiment with that as well, especially if it's a funny ad.
Screw what Matt Cutts said recently on Google about buying domains with keywords. I mean, Google still rates these highly. I recommend you consider the top 5 things you want to sell with your business, break it down into the most common ways people say these things, and then buy domains with those keywords. For instance, if you sell laminate wood flooring, buy laminatewoodfloring.com and point it to your landing page for that. And if you can't get that domain, then get laminate-wood-flooring.com, or laminate-wood-flooring.net. Also buy domains that are extremely common misspellings of the other domains. Point each of these to landing pages exclusive on those topics.
I highly recommend you take your knowledge of your industry, create 5 different articles on topics you can write about, and post them on article directories such as articlebase.com, ezinearticles.com, associatedcontent.com, etc. But, and this is VERY IMPORTANT -- put a link in the resource box for the article at the bottom that links back to your website or landing pages. You may be scratching your head on why this is important. Well, when you post to these things, your article will get republished like wildfire across the web. This creates backlinks, and backlinks increase your Google page rank. Also in the content of your articles, say something like, "As I have mentioned on my www. site.com, ..." -- and this is because some unscrupulous people may not be reprinting your resource box, and the domain in the article, and especially the space after the www., will often mean you get people finding your company without the resource box.
Now, once you have read all this, look on YouTube [here for more hot tips](http://www.youtube.com/user/GoogleWebmasterHelp).
At least for a little while, start your own YouTube channel where you share tips about flooring with video, and have links there back to your website and topic-specific landing pages.
Add a testimonials page on your site.
Add a customer questions/answers page on your site. (I wouldn't use FAQ because many people still don't know what the hell a FAQ is.)
Put your phone number and street address right at the top of the website homepage. This is because you are targeting local customers, and one of the first things local customers want to know is how to call you and how to get to your showroom.

I just went around the bend on flooring with all the big box assholes. I was just looking to put down hardwood floors in two bedrooms. (These prices include the flooring and the install) Lowes quoted me $3,000 in store, after they came and measured the room the quote changed to $6,500 and a 4 week wait for install. Home Depot quoted me $1,500 in store. After they came and measured the room the quote changed to $5,000 and a 3 week wait for install. Lumber Liquidators quoted me $1,200 in store. They charged me $25 to have someone come measure. He showed up a week later without a clipboard, pen or paper.....measured left and never got back to me with a quote. No one there seems to have any clue WTF is going on. **Simmons Flooring** quoted me $4,000 in the store, the salesman followed me home and measured immediately. Pointed out some areas to save some money, got the price down to $2,000. Flooring was delivered the next day to acclimate to the house and they had it installed three days later. I went in to see him on a Monday and by Friday afternoon it was done and looks amazing. I wish I had skipped the big boxes and saved myself a month of my life walking around on plywood. The guys at Simmons saved the day for me.
