Erik Ryberg with Green Acres in Newport is phenomenal. We have worked with him on purchasing three properties and selling one. He went above and beyond...even when the going was tough and we had to jump through hoops because of buying foreclosures.

https://www.facebook.com/1658496301043632Tri County Community Action has free First Time Home Buyer classes, three times a month, it's a series. The facilitators will work with you on understanding your credit score, help you find ways and take steps to improve it, and connect you, when the time is right with area real estate agents who work with folks in your position. It's all free and through a few different programs - Dauphin County in particular, you receive a stipend toward closing costs, for attending all three classes. The program is open to residents in Cumberland, Dauphin, or Perry Counties. Let me know if you have any questions and good luck!
