Ped: Alpine Pediatrics. Family: Dr. Embley Dentist: Gordon Family Dental, Eye care: we see the guy at the american fork Walmart
Megan F. replied:
Eagle Vision is the absolute best optometrist I have seen. And I have been in glasses since I was eight. Also great with my kid.
Kylee O. replied:
Dr Embley at Revere Health is amazing and very much flexible to what you want in regards to his care. I had a surgery most doctors would not agree with and he has been supportive and helpful in all my after care. I really like how he is with the kids and he has so much patience!
Jessica A. replied:
I love Dr. McCune......I'm not crunchy, so I don't know how he deals withthat, but he has always been so supportive of me, and has always had a 'Mom knows best' approach....
Dalon C. replied:
I absolutely LOVE Todd Chidister, FNP at Utah Valley PEDs in AMF. We also use Dr. McDonald at smart ped dentist in SS.
Nikki S. replied:
Alpine pediatrics Dr. Pollary and Dr Mike Ryan at zenith family health for a family doc!
Melanie O. replied:
http://www.southhillsdentalspecialists.com/ Dr. Barton Sloan is AMAZING!!!
Tanya N. replied:
I like Alpine Pediatrics, but to be a patient they require your kids be up to date with immunizations - not sure if it conflicts with being "crunchy":), but I thought it was worth mentioning.
Ari M. replied:
I recently stopped taking my kids to Alpine Pediatrics and take them to the family care doctor, Embley, at Revere Health. The relationship he has developed with my kids and his approach in general is very family focused. I like his respect toward my ideas and in general.
Natalie S. replied:
I did not like Alpine Peds at all. Maybe it was an off day for them, but several things happened that were enough for me to not go back again. They did not listen to me at all.
Street signs are starting to look blurry. Any know a good eye doctor?
Jessica F. replied:
Dr. Pingree and Dr. Young in West Valley. 801-966-0081. I used to work there. Great doctors!
Liz F. replied:
Here's what we do, go to Costco and get an eye exam ($50 for glasses $75 for contacts) and prescription, then order glasses online at www.ZenniOptical.com and contacts online with 1800 contacts
Erin C. replied:
I think for your first time Americas best is a good deal. You get the eye exam, and two pairs of glasses for $69. Not bad Then you can try on the glasses and make sure you like them...
Jamie K. replied:
Donald Baker at Eye Glass World in Murray. I won't go anywhere else now that I found a good one.
Cindy S. replied:
I love my dr. His name is Dr. Robert Smith and he works at the Granger Clinic. We have seen him for years.
Rebekah P. replied:
I love Dr. Pingree. We were friends with him in Holladay. Once I took my baby to him for a terrible pink eye infection and she didn't have insurance at the time- we were waiting for it to go through. He charged me $20. We have been to see Dr. Smith too and had a fine experience.
Marielle Young with the Moran Eye Center. weve gone to her for about five years now, and weve really liked her.
Codi W. replied:
Dr. Peterson is great! A bit of a drive, but I feel that it's worth it. http://www.rmeyecare.com/
Jilla C. replied:
We've seen Dr Robert Hoffman at the Moran Eye Center with our newborn. There were some issues with his eye not developing exactly the right way, and our pediatrician referred us to him because he thought it was glaucoma or something. I was really impressed with Dr Hoffman and his office staff. We've been there twice, and everything looks good with my baby's eye, but the Dr wants to continue to check-in to make sure things continue to grow properly. I've spent a lot of time with ophthalmologists and retinal specialists for my own problems, and I definitely trust Dr Hoffman with my baby.
Karin M. replied:
Dave Petersen in Murray is wonderful!!
Karin M. replied:
I know Dr Petersen deals with a lot of those. It's probably the duct that needs to be probed. How old is your son?
Since we don't have enough of these posts...I need an eye doctor closer than Orem. I think we need a genuine ophthalmologist though, not just a vision center. Any...
Tyson D. replied:
We see Dr. Smalley at Excel Eye Center in Lehi. He's great! http://www.exceleyecenter.com/
Kathy J. replied:
We love Dr. Smalley, too.
Kathryn G. replied:
Dr. Reese and Dr. Weaver at Alpine Vision in Saratoga Springs are great.
Can anyone give me some recommendations for a eye doctor out here. Ours was in riverton, we need one closer. TIA

Dr Tyler J. Barney at Eagle Vision!
Gabby K. replied:

Michelle C. replied:

Patrice K. replied:
We love everyone at Eagle Vision.
Ryan P. replied:
Love Alpine Vision in Saratoga Springs.
Steviee G. replied:
Dr. Barney is very nice but I ordered contacts for my daughter and I two weeks ago and still have not received them. Although I know it is not their fault they got lost it is still very annoying to be going on three weeks with no contacts. They didn't even call me and tell me they got lost.
Kim B. replied:
I LOVE Dr. Roger Pickering of Lehi Vision Care. I've been seeing him for a very long time!
I need an eye doctor and I am looking at Eagle Vision in the Ranches as they are in my network. Has anyone been to them and how are they?
Shantel B. replied:
I was very happy with them. The office staff is great, helpful, and friendly. Dr. Barney is awesome.
Aubri S. replied:
We can do that test at Eagle Vision and we are able to bill medical insurance. It just depends on who your medical insurance is with. One of my coworkers has a retinal tear and with the machine we can see where that happened and how it was fixed. Dr Barney can monitor stuff like that. If surgery is needed then he will send you to a surgeon but he can still see medical visits-we actually see quite a few of them.
Jeff M. replied:
We have been all over the valley and Eagle Vision is the best we have ever been to. Dr Barney takes his time with you and his staff is great too! So lucky to have him so close!
Does anyone else in this group have Keratoconus that can recommend a good ophthalmologist? The only way I can tolerate contacts is by piggy back and I need someone with...
Julie K. replied:
My husband does and he sees Kurt Hepworth at Davis Vision in South Jordan. He specializes in keratoconus contact fitting. Soft, hard and hybrid.
Kimberly G. replied:
My husband has it, he sees Dr. Gray at EyeCare of Lehi. Dr. Gray has kerataconus as well, so he is very knowledgeable and did a great job with my husband's contacts.
Juli C. replied:
Alan Seyboldt at Clair Optical has fit me with contacts that are a hybrid. When you pay between $700 - $1000 for a pair of contacts, you want them to work. He does a great job. My Dr is at the Eye Institute of Utah.
We are looking for a good ophthalmologist for our 3 year old we had a good one that we loved but traveling to southern utah is a little extreme for an checkup.
Faleshia P. replied:
Dr Peterson at the Utah eye center on 4200 s and 700 e is great!!
Tory M. replied:
Dr Hooton and Dr Hooley in American Fork are awesome! I've been going there since I was little!
Jennifer R. replied:
Dr Hoffman at Primary Children's is wonderful. We've used him for 18 years for our daughter.
Abigail M. replied:
Dr. Scott Yeates. He's at Xcel Eye in Orem. He's amazing with my 3 yr old.
