Todd Lewis was our bishop and is in our ward! I'd take my kids to him! If you end up needing more than an optometrist then I'd go to Todd Cook. That's who did Sarah's eye surgery.
Haley J. replied:
Daniel and I go to Dr. Blaine Bird at Utah Valley Eye Center (he and his wife were friends with my parents in college). He has a lot of experience, and he's really nice. Hope Kru is ok!
Leslie S. replied:
Bill Codner in Orem is an awesome eye dr..
Kandice M. replied:

Can anyone recommend an eye doctor in Utah County that they like?

Friends, do you have an eye doctor in the Provo/Orem area (one who doesn't dilate your eyes on every visit) whom you recommend?
Marlene M. replied:
UtahValleyEyeCenter has 7 good doctors: 801-357-7373. You just tell them what you want or not.
Kathy W. replied:
We see Duane Nelson at UV Eye Center (see Marlene's comment) Can't speak to the frequency of dilation, though.
Eric L. replied:
Todd Lewis over in Cotton Tree Square. He's been great for us.
Jamie M. replied:
Dr. Sidoway in Provo
Reese L. replied:
Dr. Siddoway is my bishop. He's pretty awesome. You can just tell him you don't want your eyes dilated too.
Thomas H. replied:
The young guy at Target Optical in Orem typically doesn't do the dilation. You should be able to tell the doc that you prefer not to do the dilation. Warm wishes, T-!
Julianne C. replied:
I'll second Todd Lewis.
Erik L. replied:
It's called Vision Works and they have good prices and they don't dialate unless you want it.
I need to find a good eye doctor in/around Utah County. Anyone have any good suggestions? I have had my eyes checked once in the past 10 years and I KNOW I've got some...
Lauren B. replied:
I just go to the optometrist at Costco. No membership needed, and you don't have to buy glasses or contacts from there (I usually go to zennioptical.com). $50 for glasses or contact appt, $80 for both.
Andrea R. replied:
There is a doctor's office like right by your house. I go there. Dr. Edmomds. Utah valley eye center. He's sweet.
Natalie H. replied:
Dr. Thomas Meyers in the Riverwoods. He's the best!!
Megan S. replied:
I go to Utah Valley Eye Center. It's just down the road from the house off of 300 West - the building is just past the emergency room of UVRMC. I go to Dr. Olson, but I've heard great things about most of the doctors in that office. I was referred to them by most people I've talked to here at the hosptial.
Amanda H. replied:
Let's see... I go to Dr. Eyre. he has a couple offices. One on University Parkway and another on University Ave last time I checked.... Univ. av right across from the stadium ish. I'll see if I can find a number if you want. I've always liked him.
