We used someone from NAIT. They offer a Landscape Architectural course. She did an amazing job with the design and then our landscaper followed it. It looks amazing! If you phone NAIT they can help you out 780.471.6248

Zechels Botanical Designs is great. Contact Lukas at 780-983-7335. They're work is so beautiful and are a St. Albert owned and operated company so it's a great way to support local business. They can just work with you to create a design or they can design and execute the job as well. Good luck!
Any Architects in this group or does anyone know of any Architects need some drawings for Little Ceasars Pizza approved email uorcon@gmail.com

I believe so. They have done some fast food places before. It's Burhani Engineering & Construction. They're pretty affordable too. We've used them a couple times.

Architect recommendation? Does anyone have any recommendation for an architect to design a net zero (or close to) house on a long skinny lot? Habitat studio is obviously...

When I've always looked, my top three have always been Engelman, Habitat Studio, and Etchbuilt. Not sure if all are "architects" per se but all offer design & build service. $50K seems WAY over-the-top though for architecture/design service... I'm assuming that this includes construction management fees for the selected architecture firm? To give you a reference, I had my plans completed for $7K (but that didn't include construction management/verification services).

Look up Art Vandelay at Vandelay Industries. He did the new addition to the Guggenheim. Didn’t take him very long either.

Does anyone know the schematics of building a spiral staircase or have software that they can design me one with? Really want to figure this one out without an architect
Jesse W. replied:
http://www.ask.com/question/how-to-build-a-spiral-staircase Basically, start from the top and work down, make sure you have enough head clearance on the first 90-180 degrees and follow that all the way to the floor. Make sure it's structurally sound and fixed to the top and bottom floors and you're set!
