Fairly new to town and looking for a recommendation on pet grooming. With our warm temps lately my pup would love her summer cut! :) Thanks!

Brittany Olsen at Better Life For Dogs. Listened to how I wanted my dog clipped, even though it's not the traditional clip for his breed from the very first time. Most reasonably priced, too.

Odd request: anyone know of a pet groomer who can do a lion's cut on a Mainecoon? My cat needs a cut but I don't want him to be completely bald or choppy... Thanks in...
Debbie V. replied:
Tiffany's Pet Grooming. She's in the windmill building next to Cramer's. She has done both dogs and cats for me. Maine coons have a heavy coat and it sheds. Regular brushing will help some, but I had one that I had shaved early every summer. By the time things were cooling off he had plenty of fur to grow.
These two, Pepper and Ziva, shed like crazy and I can't keep up with them. Does anyone know of a dog groomer who will deshed them? Deshed, not a hair cut. Thanks for...

My indoor Lab walks by me followed by a ploom of hair. You would think she would be bald by the amount everywhere. My Toy Aussie not so much. I bought this tool from Costco Issaquah last year and use it each week. It's changed my life! https://www.amazon.com/Grooming-Dramatically-Reduces-Shedding-GUARANTEED/dp/B00IZYDDXO/ref=sr_1_50?ie=UTF8&qid=1484253832&sr=8-50-spons&keywords=groom+brush&psc=1

Jennifer Arnell at Jenn's Pet Parlor (at the Valley Vet boarding facility) might be able to help. She gets a mountain of hair off one of our Labs when she grooms our dogs. Seems like it's the season for heavy shedding.
Can someone recommend a reliable dog groomer in either upper or lower county.
Linda G. replied:
Messy Mutts or Tiffany both in Ellensburg.

Tiffany has taken great care of our dogs for years. She works out of the windmill at the corner of Capitol and Main in the parking lot of the furniture store. Across the street from 7-11. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Tiffanys-Pet-Grooming/154063871296363

Can anyone recommend a good dog groomer in Ellensburg? I have a chocolate lab with anxiety and need to get her fingernails clipped and a bath.

Jenn’s Pet Parlor located in the boarding area/building at Valley Vet. She groomed our Lab while it was there for boarding a few years back and did an amazing job! We had a different lab who’s nails got cut way to short at Messy Mutts that needed a vet visit afterwards.
Michelle H. replied:
Valley vet offers affordable "nail trim with sedation". Sometimes the stress isn't worth it. You could also ask about a tablet they can eat an hour before going to a groomer to reduce anxiety.:)

Messy muts told a friend of mine they're not accepting 'aggressive' dogs because an employee has ptsd from a dog. So I wouldn't advise messy mutts....ive been to Jens grooming she was nice the place was clean and she did a good job. I'm taking mine to petsense tomorrow in Ellensburg- they require proof of vaccination which is nice! I haven't seen that in Ellensburg before
