Petfinder.com is great to get an idea of what the areas around have to offer. Then you can go to the shelters and check them out. Plus if you end up falling in love with a young or adult dog, they can give you some insight to their personality. Sometimes you never know what you're going to get with a puppy. Good luck!

Wenatchee Humane Society is AMAZING! Honestly though any dog/puppy you get from a shelter or rescue is an amazing gift to your new little family member. So many animals need forever homes!!!! All our pets are rescue animals and I wouldn't do it any other way!!
