Does anyone know of a somewhat local sports physician? I found one online in Waterloo just wondering if there is one closer ( for possible running injury)

Running injuries are fairly common. A good physio would be able to diagnos that often better than your GP would. Fergus: Grand River Physio is amazing. Elora: Eramosa Physio. Both are amazing clinics. Having said that, most benefit plans will need a doctors note so sometimes better to start with your GP to at least get the dr's note for physio. Having said that, Dr Patti Galvin and Wellington Ortho and Rehab Associates are good. The University of Guelph has a Health and Performance Centre that has sports specialists. Hope that helps!

Not sure if she takes new or random patients....but you could look up Dr. Margo Mountjoy. I believe she is in Rockwood now. She used to be our doctor and specializes in sports medicine etc. There was just an article about her in the advertiser laat week.
