is looking for a new doctor in Guelph. Do you know of a good one accepting new patients?
Gillian M. replied:
Dr Song at the Yorkshire St clinic. I'm new to her and not entirely sure about her yet. She is very blunt but direct, I guess that can be seen as good or bad depending on how you relate to people.
Does anyone know of any doctors in Fergus/Elora that are accepting patients? My doctor retired a year ago and unfortunately, at the time, no one was accepting patients....
Angela M. replied:
You must call the Healthcare Connect to get a doctor. The two doctors are a husband and wife team that are located in Elora, who took on most of Dr. Petrov's client base.
Noelle B. replied:
Groves no longer maintains a community wait list. It is all done through Healthcare Connect now but they don't seem to be very linked to the community. I had heard about 2 new doctors but can't seem to find out more about timing and whether I have a chance of becoming their patient. I just don't want to accept the offer of a doctor in Guelph only to find out that if I waited just a bit longer, I could have had a doctor in my own community:). I will make some phone calls and try digging a bit! I will let you know if I find out anything. Thank so much for your replies.
