Red oak. 3/4" hardwood, finish in place. We just had it installed in our house by Morris Flooring - great job and price - 720-260-1930. We have two big dogs and a cat, all with claws. They did our floors and gave us three coats of finish. You can stain it whatever color you want. Tell them Kristy Astry sent you. We installed a whole-house humidifier just so we'd have enough humidity in the winter to take care of our floors.

Erie flooring hands down is the best!! You will get way higher quality than Lowes or Home Depot for the same or better price. All of my kids friends say the best part of our basement is the carpet...if kids notice something u know it's good!:). Didn't cost a fortune either
