With regards to flooring I would def go with a floor specialist - my friend had a handyman do her floors and they are really bad so much so she needs to get someone else to re do them - Jacob Neal from Gre8 t flooring is the best ....his work is amazing! Ginger Hawk customs are amazing but i do know they are really booked up - may be worth giving them a call though ...
