Head over the bridge to Viscaya on Del Prado. Literally every longtime local if the Cape and Fort Myers I have asked recommended it and it lived up to the hype. Great people, they genuinely care for the animals, and they don't gouge you with unnecessary nonsense.

My dog gets infection flare ups, and about a dozen different vets have seen my dog. Last week my dog had a big flare up, he had been panting heavily but not crying.
We took him to the ER vet on 41, about 3 miles up past downtown ft .myers. This was our 4th trip. Each time was helpful but this trip was especially helpful. The vet asked us to show him how we administer the dogs ear drops. We did and he showed us we're doing it wrong and why. Some different ear drops and a little antibiotics, my dog's overall mood is 100% different. While he was checking my dog out, he listened to his heart for about 3 seconds and found my dog has a heart murmur too. Absolutely astounded, and we get our dog checked out regulary, beeing concerned dog parents lol. In the dozen or so vet trips, this was the first time we found out he had a heart murmur.
I believe the vet's name is Amani, he operates a mobile vet operation - I have his card somewhere, I'll try to get you the deets but this man was incredibly nice, extremely helpful, and I can't praise this guy enough...

I always go to Banfield in Petsmart. They have good prices and I've always had a good experience :) They have a wellness plan that is nice if you're into that.

If you need it at night, I recommend viscaya Prado on del Prado. They're open 24/7 and offer reasonable rates at night, not crazy overnight charges. We've taken advantage of that a few times.

My wife and I have had good luck with Kindness animal hospital. Our location is right at skyline and the parkway

Pet Coral is good. Dr Herrera is fantastic.

Dr Carver at kindness animal hospital treated my 16 year old cat for many years. I'd highly recommend her to anyone. There's also the cat hospital in Ft Myers that treats cats only. I personally haven't used them but have heard good things. SVS is a specialty vet in Ft Myers I've had to use a few times (feline leukemia issues) they are good for more complicated issues

Go to the Cat Hospital on College. I had an old diabetic cat that he kept alive for YEARS. As long as expense isn't an object he will do his very best for your cat.
