Those trampoline places popped up all over for awhile. I remember one further south on Aurora, almost to 155 th. A Fiat dealership moved in there later. I remember those trampoline places had several trampolines that were about 4 x 6 or so...at least the one I got a free ticket too...I found it kinda boring, but then I was just a kid. I do remember Casey's, we had closed campus at Shoreline HS and kids used to sneak past Mr. Sturm and go up there at lunch.
Sometime this month or next we are wanted to stay the night in Ocean Shores and take our dogs. Anyone know of pet friendly and kid friendly hotels and restaurants there?...
Jackie B. replied:
I just stayed at Weatherly Suites in Ocean Shores last weekend with my 2 dogs. Extra pet friendly and Super close to the beach. Every room has a sliding door that goes to a covered private porch and beyond that is a giant grassy area you can walk your dogs. Most rooms have a jacuzzi in them. It was only $100.
Rhea C. replied:
if it was an option to stay 2 nights , i find vrbo.com is more reasonable then a motel , its vacation rentals by owner and most allow pets . they usually want a minimum 2 night stay though .
Kate W. replied:
Grey Gull for sure. Just took my 2 Jacks there in January. Had a blast, and I think they have lots of dog friendly rooms.:)
Mya M. replied:
The Sands, Best western, The days inn and the guesthouse. They all have indoor pools except for the Days Inn. Shiloh does not except dogs anymore. Also book ahead because a lot of the motels only have a few rooms that they allow pets in.

Www.alohabeachcabin.com It's two miles north of Ocean Shores but has a pretty beach within walking distance and is relatively inexpensive considering everything you get! We stay there every summer and loved it

If you're into dive bars & punk rock, love love love Tony V's. Great service, cheap breakfast & cheeseburgers. Plus bands on some evenings – I always love seeing the Omega Moo there, and was completely psyched to see Shivering Denizens there a few months back.
Sadly there are none that are really vegan, however there are several with vegan options. The thai & indian places on Hewitt both have dishes that are vegan (make sure you specify no fish sauce if you go for thai) and further down Hewitt Sol Food has some options too.
Amber M. replied:
The Clay Pit in the Mill Creek town center has many vegan options, the owners will help specify for you too. El Paraiso mexi places (2 locations) make beans and rice with no animal products so there's a lot you can get there. My personal fav is the mexi pizza no dairy but with guac. Sushi Ring has vegan sushi options and Noppakao thai makes everything with coconut milk. Hope some of that helps!
Kendall N. replied:
Happy to help! Tampico Mexican restaurant on 23 rd & Broadway also has options, I always get the veg fajitas with black beans and they always give me extra guacamole to make up for the sour cream/cheese:)

I love the deli at the Sno-Isle Co-Op in Everett! Always vegan food!!!
Does anyone have pic of restaurant (Modern Dinette may have been name) that used to be about where post office is now ? Many Years ago ! (LOTS) Thanks
Karen B. replied:
@Lynda. The Post Office building was built on Bill Carpenter's vacant lot which he sold to the USPS. Prior to that it was an empty lot. Smith's Market was to the south of that. During the early 50's, we lived at 1619 9 th St., adjoining the N/S alley. House still looks the same, as does the Hans Hagen house and the Sven Anderson brick house to the west. (Some things have not changed!:)
Lynda U. replied:
Yes, Angie and Dan. Angie is in Bellingham and she has two girls. Dan hasn't married, but he lives in L.A. and is into Real Estate there and in Las Vegas.
Vicky W. replied:
I believe there was a butcher shop (meat mkt), Sylvester Draperies and a very small grocery store where the post office sits in the early 50's
