Dr. Metz is wonderful but usually 3-4 month waiting list but you can see a nurse practitioner or another doctor and get in faster. Practice is Beaches Dermatology and their number is 904-261-7500. Have used them for the whole family for years.

Dr. Gainers is very informative and throrough.. One problem. They tried to charge me over $750 for two biopsies AFTER my insurance coverage (and I have pretty good insurance). Not sure if it's an office screw up or their prices are ridiculous.. Either way, I probably won't be back.

Dr. Kwong in Jacksonville is amazing! She is one of only two pediatric dermatologist in Florida. Trust me, you won't regret going to her.

Thanks everyone. I might just have to stick to our pediatrician appointment for now and see what he says. It was $160-$240 OOP at Dr. Kwong's office with no appointments for today. It looks super bad AND I just noticed it appearing on him arm as I typed this!! Maybe it isn't his eczema. Yikes. Pediatrician it is.

LeAnn Ratcliff Bradbury, yes. Poor guy has had it for a while but I've been able to keep it under control for the most part. It was all cleared up and the scabs from his itching were gone and he was relatively smooth and then BAM, he woke up with HORRIBLE spotty red patches ALL over his legs. Its only on his legs. I have an appointment with his pediatrician in Jacksonville today who I know will then refer me to a dermatologist (been through it with my daughter who outgrew it) but I was willing to pay out of pocket and go straight to a dermatologist if I could stay in the area. It'll cost me just as much driving to appointments:(
