Dr. Crump sold his practice and moved away. I found this out when I made an appointment for my son. No one bothered telling me when I made the appointment or when I showed up for the appointment. New doctor seems nice though. Dr. crump had been my eye doctor for 8 years.

I called Coastal Vision and they do not accept our vision plan, they were willing to work with me without insurance but my glasses (lenses are way to expensive not to use my insurance.)

Agree with Krystal N David Sellers my son has strabismus and we have chosen vision therapy. Dr. Allison is amazing and they have 3 locations. I was not happy with nemours vision doctors. From my research surgery for strabismus is really cosmetic. After about 5 sessions my son has seen in 3D for the first time ever and he is 6. I'm almost positive she takes Molina insurance. When my son first started seeing her she didn't accept his insurance so she went through all kinds of paperwork so they could accept it.

Dr. David Kostick. I worked with him for 4 years. Such a gentle soul, wonderful with kids. He's not scary at all. He has privileges at Wolfson's. He's very good with strabismus cases.

You could check Vision Express at the town center. They do vision therapy. I'm not sure if they take your insurance or if therapy is an option, but it's worth checking into. They have two other locations - ponte vedra and river city.

I love, Love, LOVE Dr Amy Beckham! I'm not sure what others experiences were like but she has seen me and my whole family for many years. She goes out of her way to accomodate my Dad, who is in a motorized wheelchair and cannot transfer to her exam chair. (I know.. ADA laws and all that.. But his is an extremely unique situation.) My mom was a lung transplant patient who had to be very careful about germs so she wore a filtered mask in public and was on oxygen most of her last 5 or so years. Dr. B always went out of her way to accomodate her as well. She's great with my kids- they both love her! She's always been gracious, kind, friendly, and very professional with us. As we like to say in our family, "She's our kind of people." I also like Dr. Beckham's staff- they're friendly, courteous, and professional. I've known Pam personally for many years. She always does everything she can to make our visits fun and cost-effective. We can't imagine going to another eye Dr. Also- we were out of town on vacation when my son broke the arm on his glasses. We were in the middle of Nowhere Virginia. Poor kid can't see much without his glasses. I called the local Wal-Mart and they just happened to have a vision center. I took the glasses in and they fixed them, free of charge. They said it's bc they stand behind their product, even when a teenage boy accidentally breaks it.
