We've used Orkin for a while. They come every 2 months. It's $95 for the whole house they do, inside to rid them, and outside to keep them from entering. We've had a good experience with them and it's guaranteed. In the beginning we had tiny ants come after they had been here. They came back and retreated at no additional charge. This is the Terro that they are taking about. Bought it at Home Depot for $1 or you can get a 6 pack. I've tried A LOT of stuff and this really works. It can get messy if you're not careful. I cut the center off a paper plate and put the container on it. I sat a small rock on the one that I put outside. You have to leave it there for about a week so the ants will take the poison back to the queen and rest of the colony. At about day 2 you will see ALOT of ants around the bait & that's normal.

I spray around all of our window and door casings with Dr. Bronner's Peppermint Castille soap mixed with water every spring to keep ants out. Anything with peppermint oil will work.
