I don't know what insurance they take but try Advanced Physical Therapy Lewisville. I just spent 2 months working with the folks there and they were really great.

Rehab services unlimited on 407 near garden ridge in Lewisville. Pediatric OT AND PT, I've taken my son there for over 4 years and they are open Saturdays and late evenings.

Physical Therapy of Flower Mound takes Blue Cross and I have taken my kids there. 972 691-1331. It is across from FloMo Presby hospital.

I've gone To Greater Therapy Centers and Advanced physical therapy both on Blue cross insurance. I know I've seen kids at both places.

I would recommend Greater Therapy Centers, Lewisville, I would highly recommend Joselin Feriah, there. The other staff is very friendly too. I had a wrist surgery last year, and being in cast for 2.5 months, when it first came out, I had 0 motion. Joselin worked with me so hard and now I can do all my normal activities.

A couple of you mentioned Greater Therapy Centers. I see there is a Flower Mound location. Is that one as good as the Lewisville location?

I think the best physical therapist is Bob Marwood. He is in Grapevine and his number is 817-310-3737. Also, you should go to the Cryo Clinic on 2499 and freeze as well as the Normatec. I also would add Arnica, Rhus Tox and Ruta (homeopathic remedies) to your treatment plan.

Definitely Physical Therapy of Flower Mound across from Presby hospital. Almost all of my family has been there at some point and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Ask for Tony he is the best!!

I used Long Prairie Rehab many years ago. They were able to figure out what was wrong with my back and I did not need surgery, chiro, or pain meds.

Long Prairie Rehab is closing end of Sept and will be running Orthopedic Associates Rehab facility. Very sad to see them go. OA is crazy busy and doesn't have the one on one like Long Prairie.

Monica Greene at Joints in Motion - in the Lowe's parking lot in Flower Mound. She is amazing. She treated my husband last September for a meniscus surgery. She treated my 16 year old son last November for a broken femur. She is currently treating my 16 year old daughter for an ACL recnstruction. She is fabulous.

Michele at Cutting Edge on 2499 down from the hospital is wonderful. I've been to her for a couple of injuries and she is great!

I took my dad who is almost 92 to Flower Mound Physical Therapy across the street from Flower Mound Presbyterian. Jack was our therapist and not only was he very kind to my dad but he was creative with the therapy that dad needed. I would recommend them highly.

My chiropractor Dr Brown at Core Chiropractic does physical therapy and my daughter went to the office next door for her PT referred by primary care. Both are wonderful. But what you need physical therapy for makes a difference to me on who to recommend.

Dr. Foster at Foster Chiropractic does acupuncture. I just started acupuncture therapy this past year and I have been amazed at how it has helped me. Dr. Foster is wonderful and explains what he is doing and how it works. And if a chiropractic adjustment is needed, you can have both done at the same appointment.

Also, Dr. Justin Fortier at Apple Wellness (by the FM Post Office) is a kinesiology/chiropractor. I know you have seen a chiropractor but Dr. Justin is not the standard Chiro. He straightened my daughter's scoliosis whereas the kinesiogist/chiro that we were seeing didn't even notice that she had scoliosis. By the way, he is out of the office next week.

Dr Vaughn he is an airrosti. I hav neck problems and refuse to go. to a chiropractor..just afraid they will pop something out of place. It is more of a deep tissue. I usually see him 2 or 3 times and I am good. He is at Lifetime Family 972-539-3030

Check with Keagan McConnell at Orthopedia Physical Therapy at 3040 and Gerault in the Kroger shopping center. He is awesome, and it is a great environment. He is one who goes above and beyond.

This is second hand, but I have a friend whose father was in Hollymead for awhile and seems like he was so unsupervised. He left everyday without their knowing it and there was a lot of downtime with no therapy. Also, the food was awful. Our experience is with Continuum behind the FM library. My husband has been admitted there 4 times since 2011 and we love their therapists and the care he received there. DONT DONT DONT use Cross Timbers!!!!!!!!! We had a HORRIBLE experience with my father there. Vista Ridge care center (behind the mall close to Costco) was wonderful though.

Christina Allen "skilled" nursing is a Medicare term for services provided following a hospital stay and has to do with the level of reimbursement they pay it has nothing to do with the actual quality of care a patient receives.
