keep in mind that since your house is on the Local Register of Historic Resources that you do NOT have to adhere to the "cool roof standards" that the City thinks you do--but, you can use the State of CA standards from the State office of Historic Preservation--it will save you a ton of $$, but, you have to be sure that your roofer knows how to ask for this when the permit is pulled with planning--call Karana Drayton 621-1850 for details.
