Hey guys, know anyone that does sport massages? Preferably someone you've been to/heard of? Thanks!
no-soy-de-escocia replied:
[RecSports at UF does](http://www.recsports.ufl.edu/fitness/massage-therapy/). If you're not a UF student, individual sessions are $5 more, plus there's an additional fee for a "guest pass." I've never had a sports massage there but I do get Swedish and it's always been good.

Question for Gainesville people, does anyone know a masseuse that specializes in pediatric care? Is there such a specialty?
Kristi J. replied:
Pam Kissoondyal. I have her information and can get in touch with her for you. I'll message you!
Wallis S. replied:
Call Chance Chiropractic. I think they have a masseuse in their office, and we've taken all of our children there (to the chiro dr's) for general wellness matters. They are real good with kids of all ages.

Anyone have any recommendations for a massage in Gainesville? Looking for a gift for my girlfriend.

I just got a deep tissue massage from Southwest Rec Center last week. It was $30 for half an hour (student prices). Very worth it.

There's this Groupon available if she needs chiropractic services too! http://www.groupon.com/gainesville/deals/west-family-chiropractic
javahawk replied:
If you are looking for a cheap massage, you can go to Barnhill (If I remember correctly) Chiropractors and pay a $15 co-pay for an hour massage (You get two back treatments and you can use both for 30 minutes massages).
PepeAndMrDuck replied:
If you're lucky enough to be in Plaza of the Americas on campus while this guy is there, you can get a free or discounted massage cause he's in school for it and he just sets up a tent and gives massages. I've seen other similar students there too.
clusterfuzz replied:
DEFINITELY! I've been going to mine for over a year, and he's totally worth it! PM for his information. EDIT: Oooooh! I didn't know about the tents and stuff. Thanks!
