Ann Marie- I also suffered 2 years ago and my doctor was in Owings Mills MD- I delivered at Sinai hospital- about 20 minutes from Fallston. You can have the woman contact me. I was on a Zofran pump, bed-rest, and home-health care through Alere.

I had severe HG. I went to Simmons, Martin, and Helmbrecht. They have locations in Rockville, Gaithersburg, Frederick MD. I spent a week in frederick memorial cardic unit while 24 weeks and i delivered there. Ask for Dr. Simmons or Dr. Martin. Dr. Martin ordered my PICC line and I followed Dr. Simmons from office to office and he delivered me. They are amazing for HG and take you seriously. http://www.smhobgyn.com/contact.html
Jennifer O. replied:
All of there docs are great and they really took me serious early on. I can pass on my full name if you want to reference me. I'm not sure if they remember me. It's been 8 years, but I was told I was the worst case they had ever seen, so there is a chance they will remember. And the specialist for high risk pregnancy was Dr. Hodor.
Jennifer O. replied:
http://www.mdperinatal.com/ He has told me of I ever wanted to try again to come see his first to prep to have HG again. He was amazing for the second half of my preg when I was with him after the septic DVTs in my arm from the PICC.

They also have a Damascus office just 15 min off of Rt. 70. Ironically we also use Dr. martin's wife (also Dr. Martin) for our Pediatrician.

Hello - This thread from our online forum offers several referral search engines. It can take some trial and error to find a doc that sees a lot of Graves' patients, as diabetes is much more prevalent in the U.S., but there ARE great docs out there who are dedicated to helping patients with Graves' and other thyroid issues. http://gdatf.org/forum/topic/42489/ Take care!

I hope you find someone, Brian, so she can stay in her home. There is a service here called Home Instead and it's in Richmond, too, where my folks live. The one in Richmond has a great reputation. I googled it and there is one that covers Cumberland County in Mechanicsburg. I don't know if that's a good tip for you or not. Wishing you and your mom the best. Edited · Like · Yesterday at 1:38 pm

My brother uses Comfort Keepers in Shippensburg. I don't know how satisfied he is, but he continues using them. Not health care, but driving him places, helping with grocery shopping, etc.
