I've never seen a hectic or busy waiting/reception area anytime I've gone to Dr. Koster but if it's busy and might stress Jasmine out you can wait outside in the " park " area, my dogs love it but if the weather is bad you can tell the receptionist you prefer to wait in your nice quiet car. My daughters 9 year old shepherd mix had chronic recurring ear infections for many years, with many other vets in CA couldn't figure out how to fix him. Once we moved up here it took one visit and a follow up and ear problems are gone for over a year and I've never seen the dog so happy.

I love Dr. Holman. He replaced Dr. Johnson Jr. However I've been a patient of the practice through many many years and unless you're doing preventive care you have to go to the ER or the Walmart clinics to be seen by a doctor now. I have to set my appointments 3 months in advance. If you call for a sick appointment because you think you have strep throat they tell you to go to the emergency room or walk in clinic because they're overloaded with too many patients not enough Dr. Good luck !

Sanchez office can get you in usually within a couple of days. Same day existing patients. Very rarely do they send to ER. Other offices send you to ER or urgent care because it's more money for the corporation. Sanchez owns her own practice. But expect to see mainly nurse practitioners.

Agreed, I go to Dr. Sanchez as well, love her and her nurse practitioner Nicole!

Love Dr Holman was Dr Johnson's nurse but very hard to get into the office. I like Carson Medical Group you can usually get in quick with at least one of the Practicioners. May take a week or two to establish.

Dr. James the dentist is amazing. I hated dentists until I started seeing him. My teeth were in terrible shape, but he has done a superb job at fixing eveything and making them look great!

I just took my dog in yesterday who has "kennel cough" to Carson valley vet in highway 88. They have certain hours set aside and doctors to see animals that are sick. They saw us within an hour. We saw doctor Nick Mannan yesterday. He was awesome. He's very professional and very kind. I am going to use him now as my regular vet. Call the vet at 782-3693 and they'll vet you in today to see your cat.

Jones Peak Vets are great. I use to go to Dr. Ross also and would make appointment's to see him and when I arrived they would have me see Pitt instead and would say Ross wasn't there. I had been with Ross since he started. This happened numerous times. I love Ross and would pay almost anything to continue with him. But this happened too many times. Dr. Macabe is older but very good, a little gruff sometimes. A old farm vet. He has Vandmier working with him young good and very friendly. The cost is better and they will take payments also. I love both of them.

OBGYN I suggest Steven Arcangeli at Carson Tahoe. He has an office in Carson and in Minden (on Thursdays). This is my 4 th pregnancy with him and he's the absolute best! The nurses always listen to you and make sure you feel acknowledged and cared for.

Depending on your symptoms Lori....mine were from fast changes in altitude driving back and forth to reno..gardnerville. My. Dr. Suggested OTC. Motion sickness pills. Got rid of my lightheaded ness/dizziness. Etc. Happens more when you get older and smaller changes in elevation from what she told me.
