Mine has her shiny coat, energy back. Shes 113 lbs and gets 3.7 ml and takes pred .5 every other day. Initially, she lost like 30 lbs in about 3 weeks. She would have died had she not spent a week with the doctor. She was bleeding internally too. I took her on a Friday morning and picked her up the following Thurs afternoon. The doctor herself called me several times a day on that weekend. and I talked to the tech's a couple of times a day for the weekdays. I can't sing her praises enough. Dr. Jan stayed with her all weekend.

Metro Paws nextdoor to the Belmont Hotel on Ft. Worth Ave. Love them and their staff. If you want a very compassionate country style vet but without all the high tech equipment like some I recommend Larry Konermann at Edgefield Animal Clinic in the Elmwood business district on S. Edgefield. He's a love. I also understand Dr. Moomaw ( independent) is great too.

Dr. Moomaw has been our vet for about 20 years. Sometimes it's worth it to have him come to you in the home.

Dr. B at VCA Animal Hospital in Irving on Airport Freeway, he's taken care of my dogs for a few years and helped me through putting one down this year. A very good man, and always trying to give you the best deal for your money. Do not go to Dr. Clark there, I think she is part owner, she will rob you blind with a big smile on her face. It is literally half the price from one Dr to another at the same clinic.
