Mallary Trusty, maybe you can help them find their next home. Welcome to the sweetest town in Texas!

Some of the best Realtors in the Austin metro are here in Georgetown! They know their "Stuff"! If you go to Realtor.com you can draw a map around the school to focus on old town where many homes are of historic value, you can see the Realtors that deal with properties there Although the are many newer neighborhoods that are lovely also for you want a newer variety. It takes minutes to get from one side of town to the other

We respect David Durham with Keller Williams. Plus, he's the President of Habitat for Humanity and donates part of his commissions to them. He won't try to show you stuff you can't afford. Wouldn't you want a recommendation from a client rather than the realtor themselves? David is very trustworthy.

Psychiatrists doing online or phone consultations? Hi all,
I posted this a few months ago and received some great recommendations:
I’m moving to Houston this spring...
jumpinjackieflash replied:
Whoever is downvoting responses....screw you.
BeerlympicAthlete replied:
It is unlikely that you will find a doctor here that will prescribe medication for ADHD without having seen you in person at least once. Since ADHD meds are often sold and abused, prescriptions that most virtual doctors can not write include: Adderall and Ritalin, antipsychotic medications such as Seroquel, Zyprexa, Risperdol, sedatives and sleep aids, including Xanax, Ambien, Ativan, and Lunestra, and narcotics, like morphine, oxycodone, and Vicodin.
HoustonPotHole replied:
>I’m moving to Houston this spring You should rethink that. It's going to be a rough time for the Houston economy after all if this is over
GhanimaAtreides replied:
Call the Tarnow center. I see someone else in their office, but I know they have psychs and I know theyve gone to telemedicine. Absolutely fantastic facility, but unfortunately they don't take insurance.
whathewhat replied:
Talk with your psychiatrist about this predicament and see what referrals they can connect you with! They should provide that for you.
Flynn_lives replied:
Dr. Richard Pesikoff. Slightly west of in the River Oaks area. He is doing phone consultations for new patients.
Coupleofdeviants replied:
Dr. Barry Gritz office in the Heights. They are doing phone appointments right now. I also have ADHD, and they send my prescriptions to the pharmacy electronically. I agree with the other comments...you will have a hard time getting a prescription for ADHD written without an initial office visit.
AlcoholicWombat replied:
IF you can have your records sent from your old doctor an MD can prescribe adderall but is one of those prescription you have to go pick up from the doctor. They can't call those in here.
jumpinjackieflash replied:
Try Daniel Williamson, 6655 Travis Suite 880, 77030https://www.childrenslearninginstitute.org/about-cli/faculty-staff/w-daniel-williamson-md/ He's a pediatric developmental psychiatrist but he treats adults too.
IABBOAO replied:
Lone star circle of care is a really great facility for not only general medicine but behavioral health. Currently all their appointments are online though google team. You should look into them. Their number for FAQ and for new patient and general appointment planning is 877-800-5722.

My wife sees Dr. Lindsay Raymer at Hauser Clinic and really likes her. Follow-up sessions have gone to video chat in the last months. (I think they use a formal medical tele-presence system, as most docs should do.)
https://www.hauserclinic.com/our-practitioners/lindsay-raymer-m-d/
However, I kind of doubt you'd get a new controlled Rx as new patient just from teleconference. And I'm not sure if they are taking new remote patients. But, it certainly wouldn't hurt to check, do a session and talk and such -- and maybe its possible if your new doc can confirm with the old doc, or do a records transfer?
Texas also recently changed the rules, and many controlled ADHD meds can be sent electronically (or at least refilled?) to your pharmacy vs a paper Rx that used to be required...I think you'd still need to pick it up in person though, if they require ID.
We are new to Georgetown and are looking for a doctor or group of docs who accept Medicare. Any suggestions for someone good?
Natalie L. replied:
Healthgrades.com is a good source for finding Doctors that take your insurance. Always call and verify though. We use Dr. James Thompson I don't know if he accepts Medicare though. I've never asked. https://www.healthgrades.com/physician/dr-james-thompson-x5 bqx

Wellmed Clinics are specifically for seniors (Medicare/Medicaid) and have several locations in Wilco. Dr. Val at the Georgetown location in the HEB strip center on Williams is totally awesome: thorough, kind and caring. The office staff is also wonderful. I highly recommend them!
Is there a doctor that I can go see who won't charge me much or takes payments? I have no insurance and need to see a doctor ASAP.
