I would NOT hire CL Wright. They did both roof and gutters for us: roof was OK but gutters leaked from day 1 and they did NOT stand by their work.

We recently used Davidson Roofing and would recommend them. They were voted as RTD's best roofing company (http://www.richmond.com/the-best/home-garden/). We got the whole roof replaced and the price was comparable to other places we got a quote from.

I had a good experience with DeShazo Roofing. I originally hired some guy off Thumbtack to patch up my flat roof, and he did a shitty job which required rework. DeShazo fixed it up for a little more than the original guy charged me and I haven't had any problems.

We used Saunders for a recent repair on our slate roof. They were prompt enough with the estimate, but the work kept getting delayed due to weather. Once we actually got roofers on the house they were fast and efficient.

KDC Contracting http://www.kdccontracting.com Used them for two roof replacements (flat roof on an addition and partial on the rest of the house) and gutter replacement on my old house. 10 Year guarantee on the work. By the third time I used them I didn't even bother getting quotes from anyone else.
