Center for psychological services and clinical studies. It's the doctoral training facility for St. John's University. It's located on Union tpke, less than a mile from the University. I was a supervising secretary there for 5 years and highly recommend it. They don't take insurance, but payment is based on a sliding scale. Annual income/dependents. It's very reasonable. I took my daughter to LIJ's pediatric behavioral and developmental Drs. I love Dr. Huang. She is very patient and not quick to prescribe meds.

Dr Elle is the best. I switched to her a decade ago. She is brilliant and has such a sweet manner with the kids. My daughters love her. She's next to Pisa pizza.

Queens Pediatrics in Howard Beach...been my daughter's doctors for 9 years, very satisfied. Theres always parking. Ive used PM Pediatrics in Bay Terrace a few times and never disappointed. They are good in an emergency or when your child gets sick after hours and you just got home from work.

Dr Roa at Glendale Peds. I never even recieved a call or any notice that Haskoor was moving. If it weren't for posts on this board, I would have never known. My son had a 3 yr old checkup scheduled about 2 weeks before their move. I canceled it and found a new dr. Even when I called to cancel it, I was never told of the move or even asked if I wanted to reschedule. Horrible communication

Glendale pediatrics. Pm pediatrics on Austin street misdiagnosed my son's strep twice. I'd never go back there. The one in Douglaston is very good

100% Dr Roa!!!. Dr Paul is great too, but harder to get and I always feel like his in a rush when I have seen him. Dr Roa is excellant and the kids love him!

I had the same problem yesterday when my mom called to make an appt for my daughter who was screaming in pain with an ear infection. The so-called office manager was rude and gave my mom a hard time about squeezing her into the schedule. I called back and asked to speak to Dr. Haskoor's original secretary from the Glendale office and she was kind enough to squeeze them in earlier. I was unhappy with the office manager and how insensitive she was to a child in pain

Dr Pam and Dr Haskoor are together in the new office on Queens Blvd. In their defense, Dr Haskoor's office in Glendale was also closed on Wednesdays.

I used Aunt Tillies on fresh pond, found them a little pushy when it came to some stuff, then I switched over to Trylon on Austin st, great staff wait is not long you can park in the lot next to them and they validate parking.... good luck

Glendale vet is decent. Very caring and will communicate with you 24 hours a day. Dr. Hess achieved something impossible with a dying cat that no other vet could figure out. She is one of the best But the best vet who doesn't waste your time or money is Dr. Kwasnik from Animal Clinic of Queens. He's smart...hes the vet other vets go to. We have been through everything with him...cancers, strokes, vestibular and any infection you can think of. Trust his judgement always. Whether its good or bad news. Best doctor in Queens hands down! Like i said we have a lot of pets and rescue. You cannot waste your time.or your animals life seeing an incompetent vets.

It is a bit further away but Queens Animal Hospital is really good. They currently have a special...unlimited free exam for life. They are open 7 days a week. They are very friendly. Dr. Lara is wonderful and staff are friendly.

Glendale veterinary clinic is also very good. They communicate with you all hours. Dr. Hess is great.

I wouldn't take my pets to anyone but Dr McCarthy at Juniper Valley Animal Hospital. Not only is his staff the most professional, but his Veterinarians know their stuff inside out! They are awesome. I've gone here a few times and each and every time the staff has been helpful and Dr. Michal Hess Drees has been wonderful.

Juniper Valley Animal Hospital. I use them for both my personal pets and my NFP rescue. I have used them since they opened and have never had a problem. The care is stellar. My primary vet is Dr. Casper, but I love them all.

I would recommend you go with peoples choices who rescue. We have run the gammet of illnesses and worse so just any old vet like Dr. Caparole ...who calls you mommy and send you home with a dog that got hit by two cars and says shes ok. To wind up at an emergency vet that tells you the dogs organs are shutting down and that she has a crack in her spine. Believe me waste no time on the vets who coddle the owners..it ain't about you.

I want to warn against Dr Rueben. My grandmother has been going to him for years and just recently broke her shoulder. She also has diabetes and a string of other problems she takes meds for. He didn't pay her case much mind, prescribed her a painkiller that was not good for her and caused her to get very ill, advised her to get unnecessary surgery despite her protests and her shoulder has since healed w/o the surgery. He really has a great presence and I feel that is why so many elderly trust him but he really showed no care for my grandma's case and if she went into surgery there is a strong possibility that in her frail condition she wouldn't have made it off the operating table. Why he would insist w/o even seeing her x Ray is beyond me. The impression that I get from him is he is only in it for the dollars.

Sorry about your grandma. I go Dr reuben because he doesn't overbook and make you wait 3 hours like my old Dr. Fink. He also got my BP meds correct when my old Dr gave me wrong meds and almost killed me. I like Dr. Reuben but hey Apples and oranges.

My brother just went to a new young doctor who will be taking over Dr Reznicks practice. Not a Reznick fan but my brother liked the new guy. He was able to get an appointment right away and he saw the doctor not a PA. The office is on central behind stop and shop. I see a doctor in New Hyde Park. Her ne is Dr Dragonetti and she is excellent. I hope you feel better and find someone you like
