Dr Elle is the best. I switched to her a decade ago. She is brilliant and has such a sweet manner with the kids. My daughters love her. She's next to Pisa pizza.

Queens Pediatrics in Howard Beach...been my daughter's doctors for 9 years, very satisfied. Theres always parking. Ive used PM Pediatrics in Bay Terrace a few times and never disappointed. They are good in an emergency or when your child gets sick after hours and you just got home from work.

I would still contact Dr. Haskoor, even in writing, to let him know why he is losing patients/customers.

Dr Roa at Glendale Peds. I never even recieved a call or any notice that Haskoor was moving. If it weren't for posts on this board, I would have never known. My son had a 3 yr old checkup scheduled about 2 weeks before their move. I canceled it and found a new dr. Even when I called to cancel it, I was never told of the move or even asked if I wanted to reschedule. Horrible communication

100% Dr Roa!!!. Dr Paul is great too, but harder to get and I always feel like his in a rush when I have seen him. Dr Roa is excellant and the kids love him!

I had the same problem yesterday when my mom called to make an appt for my daughter who was screaming in pain with an ear infection. The so-called office manager was rude and gave my mom a hard time about squeezing her into the schedule. I called back and asked to speak to Dr. Haskoor's original secretary from the Glendale office and she was kind enough to squeeze them in earlier. I was unhappy with the office manager and how insensitive she was to a child in pain

Dr Pam and Dr Haskoor are together in the new office on Queens Blvd. In their defense, Dr Haskoor's office in Glendale was also closed on Wednesdays.

Glendale Pediatrics with a Dr Roa is ours and I am appreciative of his attentiveness. We jumped ship from another Dr and never looked back.

Dr. Yu on Eliot is amazing and they have weekend hours. I have 3 month old and had to call 2 times with questions and the messaging system directed me to his personal cell phone which I then left a message and he called right back. The 2 nd, I spoke to him right then and there on the phone.

Dr Fitzgerald with advantage care physicians on queens boulevard. A bit of a hike, but he was my pedi and now my sons.., love him!

Glendale pediatrics! All the way!!! Love ALL the doctors in the office! My personal two cents and experience. I used dr. Haskoor when my daughter was born. All my nieces and nephew went to him. I was happy. Then my husband and I noticed something about my daughter and we brought up our concern. He dismissed it. Over and over again. Glendale Pediatrics doctor noticed what our concern was before we even mentioned it. What he said was "nothing" was actually a very serious SOMETHING. Something that actually required major skull surgery. I will never forgive that dr for not taking our concerns seriously. I hate to think of what could have happened if we would have continued going to Dr. Haskoor. Congrats! And good luck!!

Dr Pam DiLello, My kids are in there 20's now but Dr. Dilello was their Dr. from birth until their teens. Her dad was also a pediatrician and I believe started the practice until he retired . He was also a great pediatrician .

I love Dr Roa at Glendale Pediatrics . He saved Peter after Dr Haskoor dismissed my concerns and it was bacterial bronchitis not a worry wart Mom who just thought her son was breathing badly at age 2.

Apparently she isn't interested in your primary care doctor or maybe you don't have one. Try Dr. John Fernandez. He is in Maspeth just off 69 St by the LIE. My entire family goes to him.

My son is 19 he still sees Dr. Paul at Glendale Pediatrics!!! Love that doctor! Dont know for how long though but we cherish every encounter!

Yes! He was pediatrician to all four of my kids. He had a partner too, Dr. Salawy. My two youngest saw Dr. Salawy more than Coffelt. But Dr. Coffelt was THE premier pediatrician in Burbank.

Yep Coffelt and Gramaud they were our family peds and Dr Fisher was for the adults.

We briefly went to Dr. Coffelt, but were uncomfortable with how many kids we knew for whom he had prescribed Ritalin. It was a tremendously high number.

Does anyone remember Dr Hill DDS? I love him, he was so kind!!

I went to Dean Huchel, DDS in North Hollywood. His office was fixed up like a western town. It was on Riverside.

I had Dr Coffelt too, and my Dentist was Dr Brown who was on Riverside drive and decorated like a western town, I am sure it was the same office as Dr Huchel. Dr Browns rooms were on the left side of the office. The receptionist was Alice and I still know and see her today!

Dr. Coffelt and Dr. Salawy were my children's pediatricians, my daughter born in 1973 and my son in 1976. They were terrific. I do remember and have no doubt he had two offices during this time, first on Glenoaks and then in Magnolia Park. WOW! Dr. C was 92 when he died.

He was a great doctor. So was Dr. Salawy.

Magnolia - He was my daughters' Pediatrician along with Dr. Salawy. My kids loved their Drs.

I know they moved either before or after Dr. Coffelt retired and Dr. Salawy took over the practice to the buiding that is now the Jewish center on Magnolia near Buena Vista. But they were downtown before that....early 70 s.

Dr Landau was our doctor also!!!

Both my brother John and I had Dr Coffelt as our pediatrician, and he prescribed the now non-existent ADD drug Cylert for both of us.

If you want a Pediatrician that will medicate your child for everything then Dr. Yu is not for you. They treat according to their extensive knowledge of pediatric illness. They've seen it all. What I like most is if you call then after hours you don't get a service. The Doctor's themselves will call you back. In an emergency you can ring their mobile number and they will pick up! Old world service.

Glendale Pediatrics is great. They are located by the Glendale library. My son has been there over a year. All 3 doctors are great.

Dr Haskoor is the best! I would follow him to any office any where!!! I have been going to him for 9 years! On Sunday I called his emergency line and he called me back immediately. It wasn't even a minute after I hung up. He remembers everything about my children even the smallest details. He is amazing! Just saying.....

Michelle Evangelista! The crazy thing is I was there 2 weeks ago with my kid and no one said anything! I will follow him to Rego Park though! I will never forget that he returned my phonecall when my son had his first teething fever on new years eve at like 11 pm!

I went to Doctor Haskoor from 2years old until I had to get kicked out at 18years old.. So I was excited to start taking my children there. But I was very disappointed when he didn't listen to our concerns about which kind of formula to give my daughter when she couldn't breast-feed (he said don't use the organic brand, use Gerber) then three years later I asked him 3 times about my sons circumcision and each time he shrugged me off until the fourth where he said "oh you can go to a pediatric urologist if you want", long story short there was a big problem! I chose to find another doctor two years ago, Dr.Meheritsky on 65th and myrtle is wonderful. Her office and takes all insurances, she lets us pace the vaccines, she's very thorough and offers natural remedies wherever she can do so.

Dr.Robert Yu. ..he is at 75-06 Eliot avenue...he has Saturday morning hours...he is great both my boys went to his dad....he took over his father's practice....he is excellent...highly recommend him

Oh just remembered that Dr. Janesri de silva took over dr fleiss practice in los feliz and she takes medi-cal! I dont know anyone personally but i believe she worked under dr. Fleiss before he passed so she should be natural minded.

Unfortunately, this rumor persists. Dr. De Silva never got the chance to work with (side-by-side) with Dr. Fleiss. He had only interviewed her two weeks before his death. He had expressed his pleasure in meeting her and had asked her to join his pra ctice. Based on that, the Fleiss family wanted to sell the practice to a like-minded pediatrician. The staff is very happy so I believe that to be a good measure. I suggest you interview and see if you get the same good feeling and let us know.
