Playground Program Kids get ready for an unforgettable experience this summer! The Livonia Playground Program is designed for youths 5-12 years of age (must have attended Kindergarten). Kids will enjoy games, group activities and crafts that will be centered around a new and exciting theme each week. The Livonia Parks and Recreation staff are experienced, first aid/cpr/water safety trained and background checked counselors! Youths must bring a bag lunch and water bottle daily. Pre-registration required. Program Dates: June 23 - August 8 (7 Week Program) Times: 9:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Monday - Friday Package 7-week Fee 1 Child $100.00 2 Children $180.00 3 Children $240.00 4 Children $300.00 *There is also a one-time $10 material fee due at the time of registration for each camper. Locations Tuesday & Thursday = Rotary Park Wednesday = Field Trips Monday & Friday = TBA(please contact our parks and recreation office at 734-466-2410 for more information.) At (Pool TBA), the children have the opportunity to swim (for an extra fee of $3.00 per child). Please dress appropriately; we will not have access to indoor facilities. Local Field Trip fees are separate and are set by the facility we'll be visiting. Local field trips MAY include (but are not limited to) laser tag, bowling, movie theater, putt-putt, archery range, etc. Parent calendar will be available on April 1 st.

Dentist - Jeffrey Berstein on 7 mile in Northville. He's outstanding! His personality is professional but fun/goofy for the kids. My kids LOVE going to the dentist!

Mieras Shoes on Leonard St. just west of Alpine has a shoe repair shop in the back of their store. They do good work and have been around for quite some time.

LOVED that store...and Mr. Bilotti. He appeared gruff but was really friendly. Bought my first '45 there. I think it was 'Downtown' by Petula Clark?? Anyway, I still remember the smell of that store and get a little flashback every time I gop into a small shoe repair shop. Great memories. BTW - hello Dave Schwartz. We used to play football (and hockey) in the Smith's back yard. Long time!
