Has anyone stayed at the Caribbean, Coronado or Port Orleans resorts? Thoughts? Any suggestions for a travel agent or other ways to book a rental/timeshare?
Jamie F. replied:
I would personally go with either Port Orleans Riverside/French Quarter or Coronado Springs. Caribbean Beach still has double beds, which is a big drawback for me. Caribbean Beach is also a very large resort and I find some of the regular rooms can be a bit far from things. I am a Disney travel agent and would be happy to help. www.facebook.com/MickeyTravelsJamie

I LOVE POR, QUEEN BEDS. Plus you can walk to POFQ and get Beignets, sure its not New Orleans but they are GREAT post race I have a fab TA who has a block of rooms at POR or the cheapest I have seen. Her name is Jennifer Green at Desitinations in Florida travel. Nice boatride to DTD too. For a quote, email her at Jenniferg@destinationsinflorida.com and tell her I sent you for her VIP Princess Group Rate. She has some fun staff planned too and some extra princess swag. She also has prices on discounted park tickets. She is awesome.

I liked Port Orleans French Quarter when we stayed there, the quick service restaurant there is great, it's small and has a nice pool...Caribbean Beach is my least favorite Disney Resort....it's very big, lots of bus stops, and I didn't care for the room. My son did love the pirate pool there though!

I am a travel agent who specializes in Disney and would love to help you out. Message me here or contact me at wkieb@nyaaa.com. I have stayed at Port Orleans and I am staying at Caribbean Beach when I run the GSC.

Love Caribbean and Coronado!!!
Michele T. replied:
Yes, have stayed at them all. Port Orleans is nice bc it's close to Downtown Disney, which you can to by boat. Pretty nice pool. Caribbean has a beach feel to it with sand and hammocks around the center lake of the resort. Coronado is a huge resort often used for conferences - it has a great pool with a cool slide.

Who, what, & where is the best travel agent/agency in the greater Grand Rapids area?
Elizabeth M. replied:
Not Breton Travel!! We worked with multiple agents there and it was a hassle all the way around. If you are looking into cruising at all, Cruises by Josh is amazing to work with and very knowledgeable
