I've used Performance Plus in Greensburg. Never have experienced such great coustomer service! Think it is a family operation. They are located at the bottom of Fosterville Rd at the intersection of old 119.

My dad owns Kevin Hunter Automotive in adamsburg. We always get a huge compliment from our customers that once they come here they feel like family! But. There is a TON of great privately owned repair garages in westmoreland county. Imo you'll get a lot better service at one then at a chain store or dealer ship. I'm sure you'll be happy no matter where you choose!

My dad owns https://www.facebook.com/188051591229170 Kevin Hunter Automotive in Adamsburg. We do all auto repair and do emissions and inspections. I am a certified emissions and inspection mechanic. Any reason the check engine light would come on could cause it to fail the inspection. However, the check engine light could come on for many reasons not necessarily meaning the part is bad. Such as if you try to accelerate quickly when the car is cold and all the systems aren’t warmed up and running properly. Basically I doubt it’s a timing chain. I would try clearing the light and seeing if it comes back on.

After we checked them they only needed 2 items fixed legitimately. We also don't charge if your car fails. Worth a try! M-f 8:30-9 pm sat 8:30-4

Mr. Tire in Latrobe does a $39.99 special coupon for both inspections - would probably give it to you without the coupon. They have never tried to rip me off with unnecessary work. I don't recommend the Irwin Mr. TIire. I like the employees in Latrobe, also.
