Dr. Wolfe in Helena is wonderful. Dr. Wright at Greenvale Alabaster is phenomenal too. Some people may complain about the Greenvale Alabaster office, but we've never once had a problem with anyone there. Front desk staff, nurses and the doctors we've encountered there have been nothing short of fabulous.

Dr. Wolfe at Wolfe Orthodontics (419-5562) is the best and Dr. Andrew McCowan at Southlake Pediatrics (982-2500)! If you need a great pediatric dentist, check out Dr. Mike Anglin in Hoover (988-9800)

Dr. Babi on Morgan Rd is the best. I've worked at several pediatric offices and he is by far the best. Both of my kids go there.

Dr Schroeder at Alabaster pediatrics and we love Dr Denny at Oak Mountain ortho...she has an office right by Publix and one in Pelham.

No doubts....Dr. Carter! I'm picky with four kids......Hoover.

Absolutely LOVE Dr. Denny fir orthodontist! Just got one out of braces and will definitely use her again for the next child! ! Also Michael Anglin for pediatric dentist!

My son sees Dr Byers at southlake. She us amazing! We use Dr mccowan as our back up. I personally do not care for Dr goldblatt

There's Greenvale Alabaster, which is right by Shelby Baptist on 31. Several people, including myself, have recommended docs there. Although Hoover has plenty of fine pediatricians too! Alabaster pediatrics is not too far from Greenvale Alabaster as well.

Another recommendation for Dr. Jolly in Alabaster at Greenvale. Super good with kids, catches problems early. I have three kids including a special needs daughter and he has been outstanding with all of them. Dr. Denney is my choice for orthodontics. Her Helena office is super convenient and she is really nice.

I totally say Dr Babi@Babi Pediatrics 459....very convenient and the entire staff will love you and your children. He takes time to shiw/explain to you. Also, as for the orthodontist

My daughter has danced at Corky Bell for 10 years...great people...corkybelldance.com....we use Dr Anglin in Hoover for my kids dentist and alabaster pediatrics. Helena is a great town and the schools are great too!! (My kids are 13 & 10!)

Welcome to the area Louise. There is a lot to do in there area. Dance Ect.for dance there is a dog park in alabaster, the buck creek festival I think is may 9&10 that's a lot of fun. Oak Mt state park, Pelham has a ice skating ring perfect for hot summer days. Helena has fri night movies. Hang out at buck creek park.

We use Dr. Mike Anglin for a pediatric dentist and love him. Find "Hewy Nosleep" on Facebook he has a daily blog about Helena. If your neighborhood does not have a pool "Gobblers Knob" or the Pelham YMCA are options. There is also A water park called Alabama Adventure about 30 min away. Helena is a great place to live. The bowling ally is Pelham has a "kids bowl free" summer program. Two local theaters have summer kids flicks movies two days a week.

Dr. Byers at Southlake is great! She took us last minute one Friday evening when they were about to close.
