We switched from Greenvale Pediatrics to Southlake Pediatrics on Valleydale Rd. when my son was young. Best thing we ever did!

Dr. Jolly at greenvale is hands down the BEST doctor around!!

Greenvale pediatrics in Alabaster is best!! I used for both of my girls and they are 31 and 29 and now my daughter uses them for my grandkids. Amazing Doctors

Love Dr. Paula Johnson at Greenvale...she is very straighforward and easy to talk to...once the child gets older and starts school, I like that she talks directly to them to get her point across because sometimes they can be a little hard headed lol

I used Alabaster Greenvale Pediatrics for both my children when they were young,(both adults now). Dr Jolly is great!!

Alabaster Pediatrics Dr.Paula Johnson

We've use Alabaster Pediatrics since they opened in 2005. Over the years the kids have seen all the docs there at some time or another, but Dr. Paula Johnson was their primary and she was great. She's very knowledgeable, patient with the kids, and really takes the time to talk to us. It was Dr. Johnson who alerted us to a tumor on my oldest son's arm and arranged for us to have it looked at at Children's. It was cancerous, but we caught it in time he's healthy now, 10 years off treatment.

Southlake pediatrics!!! We have used them for 10 years and love all the drs there!!

We use Dr Russell at Mayfair Medical- it is all the way up in Homewood but so worth it! She used to be at Alabaster Pediatrics and I made the decision to follow her when she moved and I haven't regretted it one bit! Wonderful office and all of the other Dr's in there are also awesome!

Shannon, if you've ever listened to anything I have said listed to this: do NOT take Emma to greenvale in alabaster PLEASE. Dr. McCowan at southlake pediatrics is amazing, that whole office is great. Very clean, organized, friendly and prompt. Very much worth the drive.

Dr McCown at south lake ped. But he only accepts new patients with newborns because he's stays full. If you don't start with him, you can't change your mind and try to get in when the baby is older.

I'm not familiar with any in montevallo, but I just started using Alabaster Pediatrics (located beside Shelby Baptist) and they have been great. We use Dr . irons.

Look into Blue Cross/Blue Shield. If you can get in there, you have it made. Otherwise, hand deliver your resume' to places like Urology Associates, Shelby OB/GYN and other places who are not really associated or hire through hospitals. Good Luck Jackie Rhodes!

We use Dr Byars at Southlake Pediatrics. Love, love, love her and them!!! She is very wonderful, personal, caring and a mother of 3 so she really understands and has never misdiagnosed my children. She is the one that found Colby's tumor just by feeling of his stomach with her hands! Love her!!

We use Greenvale in Hoover and LOVE dr. Dudgeon. I know they have an Alabaster office. Could be good. Greenvale Docs show up on many "favorite doctors in Birmingham" lists.

I gotcha!! I have seen him once and wasn't impressed either. I do however love Dr Byars. I think very highly of her.:)

We are following Dr Russell. She was the ONLY reason we put up with the crap at alabaster peds. I just love Dr Russell and have heard good things about this new office. It is just so hard to find a good pediatricians (or any dr office for that matter) today. Good luck. If you want to follow her all you have to do is go fill out a release.

well not in the area you want but I LOVE Mairfair Pedicatrics ...paisley's dr. has been wonderful. ..Dr. Habeeb. ( her kids ride horses, and she is very down to earth.) but there in homewood. but i drive there b.c i couldnt find a good one near alabaster:/

That is where Dr Russell went....I am excited to try something new without having to change drs.

Dr. Baxley at Over the Mountain Pediatricians maybe still accepting new patients. Good luck I was in your shoes a few months ago.

We use Dr. Russell at Mayfair Pediatrics in Homewood... she used to be in Alabaster, we followed her she is so,good!! My kids LOVE her!!!

Thank you Jake Beaty and Judy Darden Fochtmann. I called Alabaster Pediatrics and they won't have any openings until June or July. I may wait and transfer him then but was hoping to get the ball rolling. We lived in Talladega so his pediatrician since birth is there and she's great but it's a long drive and I was hoping to find one local that I'd love just as much.

Greenville Pediatrics. We see Dr. Kami Sester for 9+years. She's great. She might not be available, but there are several in that practice. Hardly ever a wait. Very efficient.

Vestavia pediatrics is the best I have ever used. Highly recommend them.
