I don't know if you have to travel through the tunnel to buy it but I've used Eurotunnel Insurance after I had. A vet and all they ask for pre-existing conditions is that on the day you buy it and the day you start to travel your GP would be prepared to say you were fit to travel and very very reasonable rates

If you have more than one car in the family I would highly recommend Admiral Multicar insurance. We have our two sons insured as named drivers on my Kia Rio VR7, one is 18 and has passed his test, the other is 17 and a learner. The cost for all four of us (including my hubby) is just over £500. Of course, that is on a shared car, but we were absolutely amazed at the cost! No request for a black box either!
