Don't rule yoga out, Wendy. Quite a bit of research into the benefits of yoga for fibromyalgia sufferers. Check out this latest blog. http://flexiladies.blogspot.co.uk/2015/07/yoga-for-pain-fibromyalgia-first-steps.html?m=1 Suggest though that you have some private sessions with a teacher first, as classes might hold poses for longer than is right for you or may move too quickly. Sheila Haswell used to run the Sarva place before it closed, but she still runs classes I believe, one was 7 pm Fri at Cedar Barn in Hazlemere. Really good class for beginners, though it's for all abilities.. Best to email and check as she was looking for a permanent place sheilahaswell.yoga@gmail.com. I only stopped going because I struggled to get home from work in time. I now go to a class in Marlow Sat morning - http://www.vncyoga.com/ again, very good, though a different style.

Nina Schofield is amazing. she is based in Princess Risborough though?
Yep! It's a program developed by 3 time world heavyweight champion Diamond Dallas Page. He sends you DVDs you can do at home - so no shame or stress, or paying for memberships or extra classes. It's much lower impact than other exercises, I'd wholeheartedly recommend it! http://ddpyoga.com :)
