We love Dr McCloskey at Sunset Pediatrics. Been with her since Sammy was born and she was recommended to us by 2 families I used to work with. She is very attentive to the boys' needs and my concerns. The boys adore her plus they have the My Little Waiting room at St Vincent so you don't have to find a sitter for the other kiddos.

Best pediatrician hands down is Dr Luce! Fox's recommended him to us and we have been singing his praises ever since

Dr Hicken is our too and I love him. All of us go to him.

Dr. Hicken is good. Just saw him 20 min ago actually. But because he's so good and the word has gotten out over the years it's not easy to get an Appt with HIM. For anything last minute that comes up you will most likely see one if his PAs of which I don't like all of them. I've followed dr Hicken through 4 moves and seen him grow over the past 10 years. I adore him. But I do think people should know that they won't always see him.
Caitlin V. replied:
Too bad your not in Kaiser. I love Zoeys dr. Basically what I tell her she does... I concur with Darilyn- I went to see Dr. Hicken, got a PA and basically my tonsils are still in my body and they wouldn't even mention them when I called back

We go to Metro Pediatrics-Westside office for the kids. ALL the doctors there are great, we specifically see Dr. Ell, but we've seen others there too and they are all fantastic. Personally, it's very important to me to like not just the Dr I see, but like the whole practice, cause we all know in emergencies, our assigned doctors are not always available. I use this philosophy for my OB too. Hence why I switched OB's when I had Shaun.
I need some recommendations for a good pediatrician in the Hillsboro area.

We really like Dr Pai also@Hillsboro Peds, Of Course Dr Mandi (http://drmandipediatrics.com/index.html) is by far the best peds Dr we have ever had, if she took our ins at her new practice we would go there.

My husband saw Dr Sanders. He's a family practitioner. He advised diet and exercise over medicine for his back pain. Most doctors have been pushing steroid shots and surgery.

Dr Luck with Tualatin Pediatric Clinic. It just opened up behind Burger King. The whole office is amazing!
Delissa O. replied:
We just decided to go with Dr. Shannon Brigman. For an allopathic doctor, she seems much more open to alternative care than other pediatricians we've met with. She is open to conversation and really listens to what your desires are.
Breana G. replied:
We use Dr Shannon Brigman as well! She is great!

So I know it's a drive, but not too far! And not sure what insurance you have or that they take, but I take both my kids to Dr Winchell at Woodburn Pediatrics Clinic. He is awesome. They have great hours (even open Saturdays for a few hours) he always wants to go the natural way before anything! He is just all around awesome!

Hey Crystal, I take my kids to Sunset Pediatrics(503) 296-7800. They see Dr. McClosky. She's amazing. She's hard to get into but all the doctors in that practice are decent.
Kim is great and she's so sweet! I've never seen Dr. Seely but I have heard great things about him too! Urbanovsky is a nurse practitioner as well and she's sweet too! They don't have a pediatrician at the clinic anymore.
I'm fairly overwhelmed with having to find my own doctors. I've never had a choice before. Anyone have advice on how to start or recommend a pediatrician in the Portland...
