Cherry Street Health Center * 550 Cherry St. SE Dental - 616.235.7289 Go there EARLY, like 5 am early. There will be a line in the back by the door down a ramp. Bring a book, you'll be there for a couple hours. Whatever you do DON'T LET ANYONE CUT IN LINE. They only take three people in the AM, then another three after noon. Tell them your pain level is 8 or higher or they won't see you. I've gone here a few times and have gotten my fillings replaced. They are students with professors watching the work. And they are cheap! Like $25 cheap. Hope it works out for you! Website: http://www.cherryhealth.org/

For what it's worth, my life-long family dentist wanted my wisdom teeth out since I was 12, but I kept holding off. I'm almost 30 now and still have them in, and they haven't been a problem at all. My teeth are straight, etc. A family friend, who is a dentist, later told me that there's no reason I should have them out, and that dentists are taught to recommend removing them whether they are a problem or not. So, your mileage may vary, but it's worth noting that you can lead a normal life and keep your teeth in some cases.

This is old and you may have already gotten help, but I went to an old Japanese guy in Kentwood. Dr. Sugiyama. He's a kickass dentist who has very fair rates for cash patients. I got a root canal for 60 bucks.
