Local, Jack Gibbons hands down. Ted's in Bolingbrook has a very good reasonable filet. City, DelFrisco, Joe's Steak & Seafood, Chicago cut. I like Ruth's Chris, but my husband isn't a fan.

If in for a little ride DMK burger. So good! A bit on pricey side, the one in city is kind of loud and we think a bit better than Lombard but Lombard is more quiet and still good. I also heard amazing things about Crusade Burger in Yorkville.

There is a place that just opened up in Lemont that's good! It's in the strip mall off of Walker & McCarthy. I work at the salon next door & I love it! Bree Thai.. only carry out though!

OK I am going to brag now. My Veal Bolognese at Tazza is pretty dam good. If you try it and tell me you don't like it I will pay for it. But you can't have the leftovers......

Great sushi, which Orient Cafe doesn't have. I agree better quality, too.
