Complete Care Women's Center on Fannin. I've seen Dr. Brigger & Dr. Kelly & both were very nice & care about my health both while I'm in office, and also over the phone. They're very good about returning calls & updating you on tests.

We were very pleased with the help & support our Roux received from Gulf Coast Vetinary Specialist Dr Carreras was his oncologist, then Dr Wilson. I hope none of our present Goldens get cancer, however if that happens this is where we will take them in a heartbeat.

Dr. Oberbroeckling at Kings crossing animal hospital or Dr. Otto at All community animal hospital (they are sister clinics) Anyways both specialize in oncology and I used to work with Dr. O. She's very compassionate and a great veterinarian. Best of luck to you
Krystal B. replied:
The very best advice I can give anyone is to have your veterinarian refer you to a veterinary Oncologist so you can learn more about the cancer, do more tests if needed, hear all your options (chemo/ radiation/ surgery). Every cancer has MANY different options based on the type, location, grade and if it has spread. There are 3 groups of veterinary oncologists in The Houston area; one in Sugarland, one at Gulf Coast (Dr. Wilson whom I have worked with and love), one in Spring (Dr. Parsons who I currently work with and love and she also does acupuncture and some holistic therapies too) and Texas A&M in college station (love all the dr's there too). Once you have decided where to go have your vet send your medical records and call in a referral and you can then make an appointment. Time IS sometimes of the essence with cancer so keep that in mind. You do NOT need to make any decisions the day of your consult either it is just to get information and find out what is best for your Caycee. I am here If you need any help or advice! I have been an oncology technician for 10 years and I have helped many GB people with their babies!

We have taken two of our dogs to Dr. Steven Susaneck, who is currently at Bay Area Veterinary Specialists. I couldn't tell you about the cost. But we like him very much. You could call to speak to him.

North Houston Veterinary Specialists in Spring (just off I-45) has an oncology department too. I've recently used them for surgery (not oncology-related) and had a good experience.
