If all else fails Sue Myles is a dog whisperer. She isn't cheap but she works with very challenging dogs. Suemyles.com. I agree with many of the comments: exercise, structure, exercise, consistency and exercise. I've had a very challenging dogs and a very sweet easy dog and I would nip this as early as possible.

I have two border Collie's and it sounds as though your dog is frustrated and needs a job. Her behavior is need to be redirected and can benefit greatly from Herding. I highly suggest exploring and get instinct test done for sheepherding and redirect her behaviors in that endeavor. I highly recommend Steve Waltenburg, professional Herding trainer, (760) 954-3002. He's located in Chino and it's less than 80 mile round trip to go see him. You can call him and schedule an instant test at your convenience and get more feedback on your dogs behavior.

You have to remember that you purchased a sled dog. Huskies are a working breed that needs a lot of stimulation both mental and physical. I would consider rollerblading depending upon the age of your pup. You have to be careful not to over exercise them when they're young as it will cause bone damage. Their joints are not fully formed and over exercise in the first 18 months of life can cause irreparable damage. Mental exercises are going to be your best bet. Maybe agility or swimming which will drain his energy without destroying his joints at such a young age. I am a trainer but I only train small dogs so I wouldn't be able to help you as far as training goes. If you don't find someone and you need advice you can PM me and I will give you my phone number. I have found that Huskies do between five and $10,000 worth of damage in the first year of their life. They are an extremely active breed. Watching Cesar Millan will also be very helpful for you. His mastering leadership series is very informative and would definitely help you to understand how your dog thinks. People don't realize how important the leadership position is when it comes to a dog. You also might have to invest in a heavy duty stainless steel crate. But remember your introduction to the crate is the most important part.. If you just put him in and shut the door, of course he's going to be panicked to get out. Dogs are den animals and do love their crates as long as they don't feel like they were forced in.. they need to go in on their own. All of my babies love their crates. Good luck to you let me know if you have any questions. I do have a couple trainers that I could refer but we are all high-quality trainers and I don't know what your budget is, but you get what you pay for.

Our Doberman was really bad I gave him Rescue Remedy by Bach . Can buy it at whole foods. I would give him four to five full dropper fills. It was like weed for dogs . At least for our dog . Good luck. If worst comes to worst take him to doggie day camp at Petsmart. Its from 9 - 5. Can drop off with arrangements at six am.and pick up by store closing.
