last but not least, our local relatives highly recommended the new Sea to Sky Gondola just before Squamish. It was winter and far too cold to do it - but on a clear late summer day it can be superb. http://www.seatoskygondola.com/

A. What are your favorite kinds of food? B. The drive to North Vancouver Squamish is abso-freaking gorgeous. It is sometimes listed among of the most scenic drives in the entire world. C. My Greenlots statement shows that I paid $0 for charges at North Vancouver and the Surrey Museum in 2015/February, and my (many) charging sessions at Langley Events Centre don't even show up. More recently, I've been Level 2 charging overnight in Vancouver, in part because most of the BC Hydro chargers (Surrey Museum, North Vancouver, Squamish) are Eatons and I can't depend on them to be functional for any specific visit. The only non-Eaton DCQC that I've encountered is the 50kW ABB charger in Langley. D. Vancouver is full of amazing things to do, and it sounds like you're already on the right track. I'll defer to the locals on this one.

Hotel recommendation: Chateau Granville. Not too expensive, clean and comfortable, amazing central location close to everything downtown, with great SkyTrain access and Level 2 charging in the garage. They seriously didn't mess around with the green paint! https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10102864059069568&set=pcb.733473163350790&type=1&theater

It's only about a 30 mile roundtrip to King George Station from Blaine, so you could park-and-ride there. Parking is not free, but you can get nearly everywhere from there on transit, including the Capilano Suspension Bridge. (you could get off at Granville Station and catch the shuttle at Pacific Centre, or get off at Waterfront Station and catch it at Canada Place) http://www.capbridge.com/visit/shuttle-service/
Looking for restaurant recommendations for Bellevue/Seattle. Go!

The Sasquatch Inn. It's on North Yeti Avenue.

Wild Ginger is a good Thai restaurant. There is also Tangerine Thai which I believe is not as expensive it's in the Expedia building in the basement.

Kidd Valley on Bell-Red. It's very romantic.

No problem, Christine. Actually, I keep hearing really good things about a restaurant in Ballard called The Walrus and the Carpenter. It specializes in oysters.
