If you want realistic mexican food, go to Old Bellevue on Main St and eat at La Cocina del Puerco on Main st in Old Bellevue. There is another Mexican place, Aguacateros Restaurant and Taqueria on 104 th and 240 th on Kent East Hill. (24020 104 th Ave SE, Kent, WA 98031) When ever I go there, I'm the only white person there, so you know if Mexicans eat there it has got to be good. Love their chicken soft tacos.

Pasta Freska in Seattle. Ironically not large pasta portions. No menu. The owner sits at your table with you and asks your likes and dislikes. Then about 7 small courses later you have had quite the experience. The atmosphere is intimate and fun. Small location.

Hey everyone, I have a question. My parents, uncle, brother and his family are coming up from SoCal to visit, and we had originally planned to go make lasagna,...
Janice S. replied:
Spring Kitchen has vegan. They have tofu.
Tami R. replied:
Chaco Canyon is vegan restaurant in Seattle. Razzi's pizza in Greenwood is a real treat- go google their menu- they make vegan and full-on meat lovers italian food- vast menu. You can make vegetable lasagna using Daiya (vegan) cheese, which is sold at Fred Meyers, Safeway, etc. Recipes are easy Just google "vegan lasagna recipe" or "vegan enchilada recipe". Vegan= eats no food from anything with a face, including bees (agave okay, sugar ok, honey NOT ok)
Brenda S. replied:
If they are going to be doing any Seattle area visits, I have a list I can pm you (it's geared towards Seattle proper and surrounding). You can also check out www.vegseattle.com for looking up options in specific cities/towns
The MV Thai and B Thai( by HopJacks) will accommodate vegan using coconut milk etc.

Spring Kitchen makes vegan pho (broth is veggie, soft tofu, with veggies). It's delicious. Fred Meyer sells Gardein brand that makes best frozen vegan meats from meatballs, crab cakes, to chicken fingers. Seiten is in the refrigerated section by the almond milk in Fred Meyer. Sukho Thai in Bellevue is a vegan Thai restaurant and the best Thai ever.
Jennifer L. replied:

You can easily do lasagna and enchiladas vegan! This lasagna is the bomb - https://engine2 diet.com/recipe/raise-the-roof-sweet-potato-lasagna/ (I love broccoli but I leave it out when I make this) Enchilada filling can be - refried beans, black bean & diced cooked sweet potato, diced regular potatoes and mushrooms fried up in a pan with mexi spices, roasted red peppers and sliced avocado. Omit the cheese, smother with enchilada sauce, and sprinkle on some sliced olives.
