We have always used Countryside Vets in wintercreek! So great with our animals and their prices are very reasonable.

Every Saturday, Coastal has a vet that comes, volunteers their time, to offer low cost vaccines. I believe they come at 1 but call to confirm. Get there early, it's first come first served. You can look up some of their pricing online@goodneighborvet.com. I've taken my dog there since I first got her.
Audrey W. replied:
Countryside Veterinary is where I go. For just shots you can go to a Good Neighbor clinic at Coastal Farm.

I take mine to Stayton vet on 1 st street I believe. Very nice Dr, and best prices I found.

Vet recommendations? I know there's always one or two that are a little more affordable than the others.

Countryside Vet in Jefferson has taken excellent care of our fur babies
Is there a local veterinarian or does anyone have a recommendation of someone good, inexpensive, and close? We just got a new puppy and need to find one.
Lacey J. replied:
Can't remember the name but there's one on wintercreek. Countryside vet maybe?
Katie F. replied:
I just used Dr. Cole in Scio last week for my cat. She is great! And her prices were inexpensive as well.
Cameron B. replied:
Countryside veterinary clinic. We drive all the way from South Albany because we like them so much.
Marilyn D. replied:
Last month when our cat got injured, Countyside wanted $70 for same day appt. Dr Cole in Scio was $38. T Scio was very professional without being pushy about additional services, med options etc. Which I really appreciated.
Stacy T. replied:
I prefer Stayton veterinarian hospital and the care they provide over both countryside and Cole from personal experiences with them both.
René F. replied:
I asked the same thing about three months ago. A lot of nice people recommended Willamette Valley Vet in Keizer. 4975 River Rd N, Keizer, OR 97303 (503) 393-7462 I took my puppy there to get fixed. The prices are fantastic. They noticed that she had three extra teeth that needed to be pulled. They only charged $9. ea. extra! It is a little far but I think well worth it.

Stayton vet is the last vet on earth i would ever use again. Tried double billing Us and sending us to collections for a bill we already paid. All this after months of bleeding us dry and our Leo still dying in the end. Thank God I saved every reciete and copy of everything from them so we were easily able to prove there scam. Highly do not recommend them.
Becca C. replied:
I do not trust the veterinarians at Contryside any longer. Many people I know have been overcharged and their pets misdiagnosed, myself included! The scheme they use is to make you believe your pets have some "chronic" condition only controlled by a lifelong monthly Rx, obviously only available for purchase through their facility. Always get a second opinion!! I recommend the vets in Scio (Dr. Cole) and at Stayton veterinarian hospital.
Melissa W. replied:

Our Erica,(Dr Lipanovich)is mostly in Tualatin these days but sometimes the Keizer clinic. It's about $38 for an Exotics exam and $8 for rechecks! She's only one of 4 Board Certified Exotic Vets in the state. She works for Willamette Valley Animal Hospital.
