They'll try to sell you glasses and contacts but I usually politely decline and buy elsewhere. The rest I go into Manhattan for.

PCP go to Riverside Medical Group 201-984-0292. it's brand new just opened up on Essex St. Ive been to their Hoboken Office and it's great I'm transferring to this one now that it's open. Added bonus it's right near Downtown Pharmacy so you can get prescriptions easily. Dentist…. AVM on Grand St. Dr Milman is wonderful and so is his staff. I second AVM Dental on Grand Street. It's close to the light rail as well. I work in health care in the area, so I know a *lot* of providers. I haven't been a patient, I only know them professionally, but I'd recommend Dr. Rossi (podiatry). I believe his office is in the heights, not downtown though. For a PCP, Dr. S. Nataranjan (also located in the heights) is brilliant. I can think of a lot of good PCP but this MD stands out as above & beyond.

I love Dr. Nicole Tully at riverside in Hoboken. And their while Obgyn group. Very happy there. And for dentist I cannot recommend Dr. Ari and Dr. Jen any higher than I constantly do- at modern family dentistry on jersey avenue in JC.

Third vote for modern family dentistry! It is so nice they have Saturday appointments and they take both adults & children so you can get all dentists done in one shot! We tried JC pediatric dentistry and they aren't as good or patient with scared kids. We love Tribeca pediatrics on Hamilton park.

Let me know when you find one. We are not pleased with our local doctor for grown-ups, though we love our ped (Tribeca Peds at HamPark), after switching to it from another desultory practice.
