Debra Keen is correct, if the pool is set up correctly and someone builds the pool that knows what they are doing salt water is the ONLY way to go! We have had ours for almost 7 years now and still using the same Pentair generator! I would recommend salt to anyone. We also loved our waterfall, the kids jump into the pool off of it and the sound is awesome when entertaining! Just my 2 cents...
