Looking for a farm / vet / pet shop or similar that would be willing to offer my daughter some work experience. She is looking to get into vet school, and the more...

Hi! FBRC is your local rabbit rescue charity. We have various volunteer positions available and have experience supporting young people towards their goals of a career in animal care. Your daughter can apply at http://fairlybelovedrabbitcare.org/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&id=17&Itemid=117

https://www.facebook.com/Ifferdale/ Bunkhouse/self catering accommodation on a working farm- loads to help out with if interested! (And they often take students through Easter holidays to help with lambing etc, maybe if you go for a weekend as a family & get a feel for the place she could go back for more work experience later?!)
Carol M. replied:
Try Martins Vets in Kirkintilloch.

Definitely speak to Lynne Martin in Kirkintilloch, they are normally very accommodating with things like this x
Hi, can anyone recommend a good vet in or around Lenzie? Thanks in advance!
Anne M. replied:
Vets4Pets in Bishopbriggs. Jamie & Chris are top vets, can't recommend them highly enough x

Can't recommend them high enough, I used to use Ballantines until something happened , now it's always these guys , second to none ! http://www.bishopbriggsvetcentre.com
David B. replied:
All the local vets are really good. We are registered with Martin Veterinary Centre, Vets4Pets Bishopbriggs and Bishopbriggs Veterinary Centre for Fairly Beloved Rabbit Care and all three practices are very good!
Deciding whether to register my pup with the vet at Bishopbriggs cross or pets at home?
Appreciate any advice or recommendation?

I'm with Bishopbriggs vets for the last 14 years and they are amazing, when our dog had to go to eternal sleep the vet cried with us has we held him, you won't get the care they give anywhere else.
Ilona C. replied:
Neither. Martins vet centre in Kirky every time. X
Lana B. replied:
I used pets at home for 2 years paid the monthly fee for flea n work treatment and the minute the dog was expecting a litter they were absolutely no use what so ever didn't have a clue !! I've since moved to Martins vet centre in kirky at the marina they have a puppy club and do a fab package for jags and microchip plus worm treatment for £30 !! Bargain or wot Plus the dog gets treated a lot better so I would recommend them .
Heather S. replied:
Pets at Home to be avoided at all costs...not interested in the animals, just the money. Martin Veterinary Centre are the best by a mile!!
Fiona P. replied:
