If it does,nt really have to be in Linlithgow our vets are Lamond Vets in Muireston Livingston and we have been with them for years and years, they have just been voted the best vets in Scotland,we live in Linlithgow but well worth the Wee travel

Mackie and Brechin are fab, however there main building is in Kirkliston so if your pet needs anything done other than the usual check up n so on then not the best if you don't drive, but Iv been with them for 16 yrs and can't fault them, staff are all lovely

Been with Mackie and Brechin for over 30 years after a hideous experience prior to that with Westport Vets (staff may have changed in that time). Have entrusted Mackie and Brechin with all my animals from goldfish, to hamsters, to Guinea pigs, to rabbits to dogs - will never go anywhere else. Every member of staff is incredibly kind and caring and very understanding of any worries or concerns I have. They do their own on-call from their own premises and are happy to offer advice out of hours too. Never had any problems getting a same day appointment, even if I call later in the day. I can't speak highly enough of everyone in the practice and of all the help and advice they've given me with my various pets and my two guide dogs.
