Congratulations Katie that's very exciting! I've been in the area 18 years I've used both Wisconsin equine and Elkhorn veterinary clinic they're very good but they are expensive. Dr Johnson was one of the founding members of Wisconsin equine so I've been thinking of switching to him to hopefully save some money. I know a lot of people that use him.

We use Whitewater Vet for general equine health and vaccinations. Dr. Matt has been excellent to work with. They did refer us out to Elkhorn Vet when we had an issue they werent comfortable with. We were happy with Elkhorn, too. Farrier is from out of the area, but we have used Bill Mayfield for emergency stuff... No complaints.

I board in Palmyra on the trails and use Kendra Skorstad for my farrier (my horse is barefoot too) and Dr. Tracy at Elkhorn for my vet. I highly recommend both.

We use Broadway Vet on Linden in Boise for our rescues. Dr Everett is very good. I personally have used All Valley on Emerald in Boise and they are also very good. Prayers that your sick baby gets well very quickly. Please let us know.
