Anybody know a good vet who accepts payments?? Something is wrong with my lab, I think he ate something he shouldn't have but I have like zero money
Faye N. replied:
Balcony Animal Hospital512-258-5738. Very reasonable and they will work with you. This is not a big vet just a father and his son.
Julia M. replied:
Have been going to Dr Graef and love him!
Stephanie S. replied:
Dr Graef. I've never personally used him but I know people drive miles to go see him and he charges less than half other places do for a lot of things.
Sheri P. replied:
Here is sample pricing from my last 12 months' visits with my pets at Graef Veterinary Clinic: $25 to examine my senior kitty with cancer and put him down; $20 to put down our senior Lab; $38 to treat 2 kittens with kennel cough and ear mites; $30 to treat my Shepherd's ear infections in both ears (he gets chronic ones from playing in the sprinkler; another vet charged over $200 to treat, cleaners, follow up, etc.). I just love him and his staff!
Helen S. replied:
Hometown Vet is the best. They have a lot of love for animals. I can't imagine them turning you away. Just take him over there. I gotta believe they'll help.
Debbie K. replied:
Care Credit is Awesome!
Julia M. replied:
Have been to Hometown Vets, very professional and friendly but I can no longer afford prices since I am retired.
Kelley F. replied:
If you are able to apply for a Care Credit card, they will do no interest for 18 months. I had to do that for my dachshund a few years ago for x-rays. I suggest Hometown Vet but many places take care credit.
Judy C. replied:
Yes! Care Credit. That is a great idea. Is the dog drooling and refusing to eat? Then you might have a problem. Otherwise, I'd watch him to see if it passes. Are you thinking he has a blockage?
Sheri P. replied:
Dr. Graef in Taylor is very reasonable and has taken payments for my pet. It is first come first serve. You need to get there around 7:30 for when they open at 8. They never charge me an office visit and are VERY reasonable. They are on hwy 95 just north of the Tractor Supply.
Hey round rock, I need a good vet around here to take my animals to. Please Jesus, not too expensive. Can anyone point me in the right direction? My cat is really sick.
Jeff C. replied:
I'm not sure how inexpensive this place is but it's right next to my office and they specialize in cats: http://cathospitalofaustin.com/about.php
Melanie S. replied:
Aaron Bertoldo, wow, no thanks. I don't find that the least bit funny.
Miles O. replied:
We had a great vet on the other side of Cedar Park. The one we tried nearby was more of a designer animal doctor, pricey and pushy. We liked Hill Country Vet Clinic. Dr Sandell is great, and very common sensical to boot. Hugs and prayers!
Laura D. replied:
We use Dr Naylor on 620@Brushy Creek Animal Shelter (south side of 620, just west of Mesa Rosa). I think our yearly checkups are expensive, altho probably competitive, but maybe you could ask for a break?
Kara K. replied:
We just started taking our cat to PetSmart at 1890 Ranch this past year...love Dr P...she's great with cats...but it's a bit far for you. Praying for your sweet kitty.

If you want a GREAT vet.....then you need to call Dr. Patrick Breen...512-863-0470. He takes care of his patients just like they were his own !!!! It doesn't get any better than Dr. Breen !!!!
Gina E. replied:
I second Dr Tarlton....his office is not fancy and new but that is also reflected in his pricing. He does not have a huge over head to pay for. He is truly in it for the animals. We have used him for several years and love him. He's one of those hard to find good ol' country vets that dont up sell you. We will not go anywhere else unless forced to due to timing.
Melissa L. replied:
Dr Tarlton is awesome! I recommend going there also! Very affordable and he was awesome with our dog and he took us in even he was about to close the clinic!
April P. replied:
Koy Animal Clinic. Any of the vets there.
Rob H. replied:
I've been a customer of San Gabriel Animal Hospital for years. The owner recently passed, however. He was such a great man. They are still open and I will still go to them. Dr. Tarlton is great as well. My family has been using him for years.
I officially can't stand Banfield Round Rock.... Any good vet recommendations???? Not picky about location at all. Just as long as they provide excellent care
