My daughters had glasses since she was 5 months. We've been through plenty of drs and we LOVE the one she's had for about 2 years now (she will be 4 in august) but Dr. Kennard at Childrens Mercy. I also know that Grin eye care in olathe is great too!

We really like Dr. Plummer at Children's Mercy. We started out with Dr. Grin (not the Olathe location- the one in OP is pediatric) and still use them for glasses.

Diane Galbrecht at the walmart on K7. My son got his 1 st pair of glasses with her when he was 4 and she was amazing. My son is very high energy and asked her 1000 questions about her equipment and she did great with him.

My eye doctor told me to go to Durrie Vision in OP. They were very nice. I had astigmatism also, no problem. It's great to be able to get up in the middle of the night and not walk into the wall. You'll love it!

I used Discover Vision center in Kansas City (Dr John Doane). They will give you a free consultation and eye exam to determine if you are a candidate. I had astigmatism too, so don't count yourself out! Best thing I ever did!

I have an astigmatism and I had very successful lasik surgery. I had mine done by Dr. Milton Grin in Olathe. I didn't need a referral.

I go to Lawrence Family Vision on 6 th. My dr is Kevin Trummell, who I really like. I am not sure what they charge these days since our insurance fully covers it, but I know when I didn't have insurance that covered eye exams, it was reasonably priced. I think they have raised their prices since, but I am sure you can call and ask.
