I would also recommend the Visbrasserie (which everyone still calls De Poort), they seem to be tolerant of children (if you want to bring them along) - the lighting is a bit muted - http://www.poort.nl/ Jeanpagne is good too.

De Poort is nice, but if it not a nice weather, the inside is very noisy, and if it is a nice weather, the terrasse can be very crowdy! nice place though but not sure this is the best one for a quite romantic dinner:)
