John Rubin, UCLH. And if you go on the british voice association website they have a document that tells u all their reccomended ent's in the uk with details about their services, what they specialise in, etc
Christine B. replied:
British Voice Association is likely to be able to help with suitable contacts. (http://www.britishvoiceassociation.org.uk/) They integrate expertise in singing, speech, ENT, ... anything relevant to the voice.
Nicola G. replied:
See if his GP will give a referral to the RNTNE before shelling out for private treatment. I've had a couple of rounds with them and the people I saw were pretty wonderful, knew all about singing and could recommend next steps https://www.uclh.nhs.uk/OurServices/OurHospitals/RNTNE/Pages/Home.aspx

Parents, would you be able to recommend a good private paediatrician who consults in St. Thomas' / Evelina? Someone good with ENT type of stuff. Thanks.
Katie B. replied:
Dr Nico Jonas. Fantastic paediatric ENT surgeon. He operated on my son when he was five months old as an NHS patient but I think he only does private work at st Thomas now. http://www.guysandstthomas.nhs.uk/our-services/consultant-profiles/ent/nico-jonas.aspx

I think he still does private work there try contacting his secretary or emailing him directly on http://finder.bupa.co.uk/Consultant/view/169061/mr_nicolaas_jonas

Can anyone recommend a nice kid friendly GP! I need a referral to an ENT :-) Mt Lawley area. TIA
Tammy L. replied:
Dr helen Anstey - View st medical in north perth. Older GP, very experienced and very thorough. My 6 year old had tonsils and adenoids out by Dr Vijayasekaran - a paediatric ENT and Clinical Assoc Professor at UWA. He was FANTASTIC! Based at Perth ENT Centre in Subi, did my son's surgery at Subiaco Private Hospital . No more snoring and no more tonsilitis:)

I don't know a GP in that area but I highly recommend getting a referral to see Dr. Phillip Grey who is an ENT specialist. My daughter went through him to have her tonsils out earlier this year and his team was brilliant!

If your bub is having ENT troubles, consider removing dairy from their diet before opting for surgery. Nothing to lose right? http://www.drbriffa.com/2007/02/02/why-removing-tonsils-is-not-usually-the-answer-for-children-who-do-not-breath-easily/

I see Dr Oganowska in Noranda. She is great with the kids and has toys in her room to entertain them while you chat to her. She was in the paper recently as one of only 3 doctors out of 10 the west went to that didn't just hand over a medical certificate for a day off. Does her job. Not exactly close to Mt Lawley but a great park across the road from it to play after.
Liz O. replied:
My friend had nothing but good things to say about Dr Darren Kester who has moved from Wembley Downs to Mt Lawley area.
